its not always fun and games. Rest of this week is spent finalizing patent submissions for the next step. Keeping the patent pending status until fully granted is a long and expensive process.
i am going nuts. also everyone i ride with are waiting. couple have said they like this top the best. making them want one site unseen.

This gas lift assist rocks!!!!
The install took all of 10 minutes. The balance is perfect. As you can see it holds it up perfectly well, even at a 45 degree angle.
Keep that brain working on new mods.
OK, just wondering here. I went back thru the thread... is @Slingrazor the test mule for the shock? I would have ordered one if I knew they were available.... did I miss something? I didn't think they were ready, and then I see Slingrazor has one. Not a big deal as my top is off currently, but plan to have it back on soon and would love the assist shock on it when I do.

Lifts are at powder coaters - should be ready next week

I made a deal with RD to let me have the parts unpainted so I could show it off to those in California and generate more visibility. Since I am at STYLNS he powder coated the parts for me.

What he said.....
I have the parts back and will be kitting and doing instructions. Will be ready to order this weekend and should ship after the 4th.
Nothing was missed. Just knew @Slingrazor would be doing his own powder coating.
Besides, all that guy does for everyone else he kind of deserved a little special treatment.

Kitting tops now. First 5 will be completed and back orders shipped first part of next week.
Additional 9 tops will be ready by the end of next week.
After this production run there will be about a 2 week turnaround for the next batch.

Pulled my roof off along with the fender vents, roll hoops and some other items to be powder coated. At almost 100° and sunny today, I wish I had the roof on....or at least wish I would have driven my truck today!

powder coating the frame?
If so be careful when reassembling.
Did you scuff up the Stainless Steel?
The powder coating can scratch off easier than you might think. Currently testing a frame that's been coated. Not happy with how easy it is to chip. Would end up with warranty claims I'm sure.
