Iowa was helmet law and I spent a couple of years helping to get it changed, stats at that time showed eye protection did as well as helmets in preventing.
Its sad that those who will never ride a motorcycle/slingshot help vote the helmets laws and dont get all the facts to make a informed decision.
It was never a easy battle as lying politicians say it costs those whose dont ride big bucks because of medical.
Wait Im thinking all politicians are lying thieving, hangings too good for them, burning is too good for them, they ought to be torn into itty bitty pieces and buried alive to quote a really old movieLOL -
For those who hate their helmet law , get out and work to get it changed .

Thank you sir it arrived in the mail this afternoon, hope to get it on within a week . between honey do's and work not enough time in a day

Check out UCLEAR HBC200 Series boomless headset system. The comm mounts to the exterior while the headset (and charger) plugs in via a mini USB port on the comm. The boomless headsets come in different configurations for full face (speaker pods or earbuds) and half shells (earbuds). The Speaker pods have the mics built in and they work surprisingly well. Voice clarity with the boomless mics in our full face helmets is as good or better than our old wired boom mic system and I can have a clear phone conversation at highway speeds as long as the face shield is closed and my [removable] chin bar is in place."
I second the Uclear. had some when they were new . I ride alone most the time so have not tried the intercom but for music and phone they work pretty darn good.
Only thing is Im partly tone (wifes tone) deaf for certain tones so at highway speeds the music is not as noticeable or loud enough for me .
But if they were much louder I would be getting more damage.I have two hewlmets
One full face that I use mostly on the motorcycle and when its cold for the sling.
I also use a HJC half helmet that stays in the sling.
I disagree in the cartoon that shows the helmet causing neck injury.
How old was that diagram and is it backed up by Stats for normal road use not race tracks ?
I agree I dont see the need for a helmet anymore in the sling than in any other convertible as if it flips its not a good day period.
But I also say its the riders choice and should be only thiers. -
Wasnt sure how to send PM but started a conversation with you as I would like a red one if possible.

sounds like we are all nuts in this topic

Didnt upset as looks like a four wheel kit or mockup, its about super guy not the sling ?

Here is what I like to have:
Keltec Sub2000 9mm in S&W M&P , in folds up to 16.25 inches, perfect for behind the seat with a 17 rd mag. I also carry a S&W P9 Compact that can use the same mag.I have one of the same but it uses the glock 17 mags, I purchased some 33rd mags a few year ago before they got stupid prices.
Yep folds to a small. bag size and three 33rd mags fit in the seat back stash area behind the passenger seat real nicely .
This is Texas , they don't even flinch at that -
I already have two and the Maintenance cost is way to high on those
-
Thats the only way to get people with Jobs ti Indiana LOL
Those do make tradin as in not going to -
I bought a top and though I do prefer open top the top makes it bearable in hot weather done here in Texas 100+
Its cooler days now in upper 80s to 90 which is nice weather here but I thought I would take the top off and havnt, now I dont get to ride as much as I would like as the new Job is work from home but its become a habit with the top on so I left it . still kinda nice , I do miss the night view but then dont get out much after dark
JMHO -
Now that looks like fun

I have mine with double bubble and they hit almost in the center .
Maybe Im tarded and mounted mine different ?
I was thinking Id have to cut an inch all the way across ...
I can send Pics later or in morning -
Havent drove it yet but like the strut already.
Used drivers side.
Makes getting in and out much better
Now to wait for dark so not 100+ out there -
Move to Texas. Safety inspection consists of brake light, blinker and horn. They should just remove the blinkers since no one uses them anyway.
Really I was told when I moved to central Texas that blinkers were a sign of weakness?
I want the flames one but in red .
I have seen bikes get pulled over because of red LEDs the LEO is on his own for judging about blue or red lights it seems.
If they ticket you , you may win but still need time out for court -
I wanted to add!!!
Im getting used to the lower line of sight and I do seem to see all that I need to.
Ordered the one strut and its on its way already
Thanks to the keep me updated side of of Meansling.comWanted to add also that this moved the mirrors out just a touch and they are more useful now and that little bit made a big difference in how the mirrors sit.
Overall I love this top !!!

I also use the Dynaplug setup only the aluminum with the big flat push pad. Yeh i know im an old gimpy fart. Just makes it easier to push the plug in. Small compressor for the air.
Does Polaris not give us a towing card with purchase?
LC
Yeah had the wide end one I carried in my truck but when I traded it someone got a plug kit with it , it was easier
-
Yeah yeah , will you mow mine next as the weeds are getting taller before they turn a crunchy brown.
Grass stopped a couple weeks ago .I went with one and will see where the best view for me is
