Going to share a follow up I have on the Sport Top.
About a week ago I had to remove the top because I was taking off the harness bars and mounting the harnesses to the roll bar bolts. This required me to remove the mount bar for the top as well. After about 3 minutes work I had it stripped down. Upon completing the work I decided to leave the top off for the first time since it was installed in MV.
What I discovered is how good the top is. The airflow is completely different with the top off, I noticed an increased amount of buffeting that was not comfortable. Instead of a smooth airflow that feels like a fan on a medium setting I was getting blasted from different directions.
That first ride was on the way to work at 4 in the morning. My second memory of the days without the top became apparent as soon I sat down to drive it home....hot seats. The ride home now was roasting me and the airflow was like a heater hitting me from different directions.
Upon arriving home I set to the task of installing the top which was completed in under 5 minutes. The installation took a couple minutes longer because I had removed the front support arms before driving it.
@Ruptured Duck, we can't thank you enough for transforming the comfort of our Slingshots. In our opinion the functionality of this top is second to none. -

I agree completely with @Slingrazor. I have had mine off for three weeks because the weather in my part of AR has been beautiful. I wanted to enjoy the sunshine. Mid 70s high almost every day. Then this week came. Once it goes over 80 outside you really notice the heat without the top. Yesterday it went over 90 with high humidity and I thought I was going to die!!! Seat heated quickly every time I got out and sitting in traffic was terrible. @Ruptured Duck, your top is amazing!!!

Would love to but I'm not seeing a way to add my comments. Am I looking at the right site?

I don't own this top but many of my friends do and I think it's the best looking top on the market. @Goats_Hogs showed me how easy it all comes off and on and it's a ingenious design! It's also well priced!
-
Yeah... I'm dying to get mine... Still pinching pennies...

I've never wanted a top but when I'm done with engine and suspension upgrades this is next on the agenda. My wife will be with me in Maggie and I think she would love it. One of the reason she dislikes the slingshot is the heat. She also doesn't like the wind.

You coming to Texas in April @Ruptured Duck?
-
If I can get a decent price to ship my sling down to Texas and fly in I might be able to make Texas in April just can't spend the two days on the road to get there. I know this was for RD but I was just talking out loud.

@MiM we will need to see. This is still the small business done after our regular job hours so scheduling time is the biggest issue. It's a catch 22 kind of thing.
We are 100% in for SSITS 2018.
I'm sure you know, but I'll just add... A whole other customer segment here that might not reach all the way to the east...
Ask any of the vendors who attended our 1st event...

I am probably one of the only people in the world that does not use Facebook, but I would be more than happy to leave a positive review elsewhere.

I went cold turkey on FB over a year ago. Life has been better since that.
