Well theres fresh snow on the ground here in Ontario Canada this morning but I,m exctied to be loading up my Sling on our new wheel lifts and heading on a three week tour to introduce our new body kits from here to Florida. I hope to join the Slingshot ride there next Saturday but will be spending most of my time wondering 3 or 400 miles east and west of I75 calling on dealers. anybody got a recommendation for the most active Slingshot dealers in Eastern U.S. I.d love to call on them directly but cant possibly hit them all in three weeks so looking for referrals on which ones are truly active in Slingshot sales? The purpose of my trip is to give them a first hand look at the quality and kits available, including one which I think will really interest them, our new luggage system as I truly believe all potential Slingshot purchasers are looking for more luggage capability. . This posting is a little bit ahead of our website design as we cant get our SSL certificate till Monday and a few other website bugs to work out , but until then you can view what there is so far at slingshot body kits.com. please note its only http not https meaning not secured for online purchases yet un till we get that certificate. nor are the search engine optimizations up yet. . The reason being untill we were fully into production we refused to publicly introduce product that could not yet be delivered.. The time has come, I am introducing this month for product release in April, we are building inventory now, So please understand the website has not been our first priority as were not yet marketing, till April, That being said anybody along my route that would like a personal or group showing I would love to give everybody a sneak preview of what will be available come April
Theres a new Sling in town ! (NEW BODY KITS)

Looks pretty good in the, not so clear, pictures @kev. @FixMyToysZach @cball86 from Ball Equipment in Richmond, Michigan seem to sell quite a few. I don't know rankings, but they host events and always have a good Slingshot owners showing.

Welcome Kev
Good to see custom SS stuff showing up here in the north.
Have a safe trip. -
this is probably the best looking body kit i have yet seen for the slingshot.. great job!
-
thanks guys, its been a while coming, but we felt we had to keep it under wraps till we were actually ready to take it to market. and thanks for the Michigan tip Wolf being they,re so close to home I,ll definitely call on them

nice job on the front fender wheel arches.
-
I cant tell you how many hours went into the front wheel arhches, I simply lost count lol, it was an area of great concern , one part of me wanted to tightly enclose the wheels just allowing for minimimal turning and suspension for a tighter supercar look, but then it took too much away from the original Slingshot look so I compromised with large enough openings to include the guys who want to upgrade to 20 inch rims and maintain the same rear tire profile , meaning an extra 2 inch overall diameter, Whlie there has been some go to 20,s with the lowest profile to keep the outer tire diameter the same it just makes for very cool looking wheels but not too practical as they have literally no sidewall left for suspension and ride. So therefore the larger wheel well arches won out for both the look and practicality. Glad you liked them !

Ok, I found it. I really like the looks of this.

I cannot find the web site

thanks Tripod FOR POSTING THAT LINK, but please forgive the shortcomings of the website as we are just getting it up and running. let me know what you think,

Looks like around 5k for the full kit.
-
The tow dolly sounds interesting. Just need the pictures to see what is going on.
-
The front fenders look to be stationary, no fenders flapping here. A real super car look, to the point I would go quad and forget the luggage bags! Somebody quick photo shop two wheels on the back, I am a buyer for it. @Turbosling

Prices were given in US Dollars, but I like your pricing better

Ahh... I'm sorry then. Saw the Ontario tags and made some bad assumptions.

Usually when I talk to Siri, she corrects me, no need to apologize

That thing looks sweet as hell.
I love how the front end gets the bolder, more robust finish.
The front fenders though....encompassing the wheels, and the splashguard!! Damn I love that look there.
The rear is finished very nice as well. Love the saddlebag option.
Have you done anything yet, or given consideration to the Welter Exhaust systems? That rear end, along with a Welter Dual or even just the single pipe, would look amazing!
