2017 stop sale notice. I wouldn't read more into this than "maybe" a few bolts that need changing out due to being tightened a bit to much and causing issues with steering and suspension movement. I would think that a impropper torque value was set on the equipment that is used to tighten these particular bolts during assembly. And it aounds like it was set a bit to high. IF that is the issue then they probably can't risk just having a tech loosen these and then tighten them back to a correct spec because they probably would want new bolts and lock nuts used. I don't know if that is why but it sound like that is what it's about. When I have more details they will be posted immediately. Polaris is most likely be very cautious and proactive. This is all my opinion at this point but like I said.... I will update with more details as I get them.

How long? How is tightening to the correct spec so difficult - bad tool, inattentive worker, poor QA? I don't get it. After all their recalls in the last 24 months I would have thought the 2017 would be specimens of assembly perfection

I'm am probably in that pool of model numbers ~> UGH! So, should I wait to get my wheels aligned then? I have about 2.5k miles on the rubber now and "may" score a free alignment as part of their fix??!!

I wouldn't expect that Polaris would cover a really good alignment .... maybe the 2x4 method but not laser. After you little accident the other day I'm not sure if I would get the alignment now or later
