A lot of grey in those hairs!
I think @Dave@DDMWorks needs to conduct the same test with a Hahn setup and I volunteer my Sling.
Sure, next time you are up this way with your Slingshot, let me know and we can do an intercooler shootout with all 3.
Right now it looks I'll be up there a week before Maggie Valley.
@Dave@DDMWorks with the same configuration pushing 9 psi, what are the readings with our awesome DDM Supercharger? Should be cooler right?

The test was done on the supercharger kit.

So it doesn't cost an arm and a leg; only an arm and a few fingers?
We could care less about a little blood - we want numbers!
i had to remove the turbo make a couple of changes. That took me a few hours. I'm so tired I'm almost not able to type this. My arms are shaking from working on this thing...
I will know more shortly. Dave just fired up the actually dyno computer. I guess that means shits about to get serious.
Prayers to the boost gods!
Amazingly Dave ran me off. He has about 2 hours of tuning. He has it dialed in at 8psi at a tick over 300hp at 5800rpm.
What is amazing is just how smooth it is. I can't really explain the smoothness with a post over the internet. But it just glides up in RPM.....
Hang tight and I'll get a screenshot of the 5800rpm pull. The graph is beautiful. Now he is using the boost controller and building what appears to be maps in the computer for each 2 additional PSI of boost up to 20 psi...
Like I said, He told @Wrenchmn to get me out of the dyno room because I am usually a nervous wreck listening to all the pops and backfires. Last time I was up here at DDM I drank a large bottle of Pepto Bismol and ate 2 rolls of the fruit flavored Rolaids. Nervousness gets me every time.
A lot of grey in those hairs!
Yep. I have more grey hairs than I do blonde...
I left Dave sitting on the dyno and I'm back at the hotel. He is doing some awesome work with the Haltech. When I left he was on the phone with someone. It is cutting the ignition at around 6250 rpm and that isn't high enough. He had checked all the standard areas in the programming that start cutting spark and was getting some info from someone.
As I mentioned earlier I am useless after I reach a certain level of tiredness. We will start in the morning at 9am and work till we finish up with it.
As of right now it's putting a absolutely beautiful torque curve on the screen. And it's not spiking like most turbos do when they kick in. I guess that is part of being able to truly use a progressive boost controller and keep my fuel enriched. I'm guessing... But it sounds right.
I will post more tomorrow. GoodNight everyone.
P.S. I have seen 2 foot flames come out the pipes when the rpm cut comes on.. It is going to be a fire breather for sure.
You look like you need a shower and a bed...!
@Dave@DDMWorks will the new intercooler be shipping with the SuperChargers as well???????

I get that too if I eat too many burritos in one sitting

That intercooler looks like the one in the DDM SC kit.
Their normal awesomeness....
Rabtech , he was on the phone with me . Troubleshooting the 6200 rpm backfire.
Glad to hear the Haltech solution is getting refined and performing . Nothing like being in control of your own tune and Dave is as good as it gets on getting it dialed in on the dyno .
