Technically it's dark blue and red
What is this plug?
-
-
Why does it always have to be a color thing????
-
Crap. It's the bootstrap plug. It's blue/red red/blue.
Of course! Why didn't I think of that??
Da f&$% is that?
-
I would guess it is for them to gain access to the bootstrap of the ECU and maybe flash or monitor the ECU.
-
Ahhh, I hope you guys know the restraint we peanut gallery members are showing by not derailing this thread too badly....
-
Now that is funny! I'm laughing so hard right now!
-
That's just plain nuts. (see, no chunks)
-
I hate to tell you guys....your all wrong....it's the plug for the high compression floor mats and the Dual Fox tails...

Here's a better pic..... was talking to Slingrazor about this and he said it might be part of the factory audio unit?
-
Removed the entire wiring harness for the factory radio to ECU last year. Mine doesn't have the plug. I'll check the harness to see if it part of it out of curiosity.

It's the bootstrap connection. I have the schematic posted a few pictures up from this post.
-
So it's NOT another shameless plug?

OK just wanted to make sure, but if it was a boot strap connection shouldn't it be on every ss? Unless it's a boot strap for the audio system..... and if it is really a boot strap plug then it's worthless to me I do appreciate everyone's input of this. Thanks!!!
