That's the best way to get it, let it fall and melt. We got a light powdering as well and only stuck to leaves, etc, melted by 9am.
Insane amount of rain here!
Looks like at least another 4" before it is over. Only saving grace is my pond was down about 18" a week ago. Should be running over the banks in the morning. Last time that happened I found fish out in the adjoining field and a lot of happy night critters having a buffet.
67 degrees on Monday when I drove my Slingshot up to Dave@DDMWorks. Rain, flooding, and tornadoes on Wednesday and Thursday. Cold and very windy Friday and today Snow! Suppose to be back in the mid 60’s next week with rain.
pretty normal for this time of year
Well, I'm sitting here watching TV and its 13 degrees outside. Another two months and I'll be able to fire up the sling
17F this morning.
Supposed to be in the 60's this weekend.
Welcome to Arkansas!
a year ago today, Valentines Day 2018 we had record rain, washed out roads that took until 9 or more months to get repaired - This year has been much better, warm enough in the afternoons so that I have not wanted my full helmet for my daily ride.

I bought a trailer last Summer. One of the places my wife and I want to ride is the Maine coast.
Sure would be cool to have a guide!!
ConnMan After you leave New Hampshire Nubble Light should be one of your first stops. I used to scuba dive there and it is a beautiful spot and I believe there is a clam and lobster roll shop right there next to the parking lot. The Maine / New Hampshire coast and if you can head down to Cape Cod would be an amazing ride. Been there done that Highly recommend it! Oh yeah and don’t forget to stop in York Maine for some salt water taffy😋
You suck big time!! Well I really don't think you suck but I wish my wife would be willing to pack up and get the hell out of Maine.

you just need a winter home here - you can be a "Snow Bird" as we call them
actually 80's seems to be a good 2 weeks early this year normally in the 70's
Sorry, as much as I love the Coast Highway I could never live in California with all the libs

seriously? - not exactly like Maine is a red state - This site rates Maine as "Highly Liberal"
"The most liberal state in the country is Massachusetts, where the equally progressive city of Boston is located. Next is Hawaii, followed by Vermont, Washington, New York, New Hampshire, California, Maryland, New Jersey and Maine. This index of how liberal a state is is based on how many liberals there are, as compared to conservatives."
"Maine is the second-most liberal state in the country. 33% of voters identify as liberal; however, the liberal advantage is -2 because 35% of voters identify as conservative. In the 2016 presidential election, 47.9% of Maine voted Democratic, while 44.9% voted Republican. Maine is one of the few states where moderates do not outnumber liberals or conservatives, with 29% of voters identifying as moderate."
Another reason I'm trying to get my wife to move away . But she lived in Florida and hated the hot weather

... I could never live in California with all the libs
Being born and raised in California for 35+ yrs, I can tell you that California is just like a bowl of cereal: It's all Flakes, Nuts, or Fruits.

Try the Ozarks... 🤠
We're enjoying a mild winter. We have summer, sort of. As long as you stay out of the Arkansas river valley where the mosquitoes will carry you away, it's a lovely place to live.
