they have been having excessive heat warnings on the news and they have also opened "cooling stations" places with AC for the homeless or anyone else who doesnt have a cool place to stay - - even on days when we dont have the warnings it is hot enough to kill a person if you get stuck outside without water - - its a desert for a reason
sunny day
hot dayyy
Welcome @malkolmwein and @aroniro! Y'all should put your location in your profile. Would make it easier for getting together with other members for rides.
Just another day with rain. I think it has rained every day for the last 4 weeks and I do not mean a shower we are talking 1 inch to 7 inches per day.
Last night I was watching the Los Angeles area news and when the weather dude was giving his report he stopped to point out that July was the hottest July ever recorded for Palm Springs. He also pointed out that we had hit 121 and that we could possibly hit it again in August
I used to live in this town 9 years ago. This video was from a tornado that hit there today, but here in Florida it would be called a small storm.
2 days now and no rain. The yard finally dried up just enough to cut the grass without bogging down
It is sunny, warm and lobstery here at our cottage in Nova Scotia!!
OK here’s one you don’t see too often in weather conditions ( SMOKE ) but here in California that’s how we roll! ( unfortunately )
Taken from 35 miles away this morning in Newport Beach. This fire is about 10 miles from my house in Temescal Canyon. Looks like snow on my truck with all the soot in the air.
Part of our four seasons - earthquake, fire, flood, and drought

fortunately for us that crap seems to be staying on your side of the mountain -
We've got the smoke here in Colorado too, and most of it is coming from CA.
Working on the third day without rain. Looks like a good weekend to spend in the Smokies, I will be there by 1 PM tomorrow.

Does the air come with the usual statement...
The state of California has found that smoke from California has been known to cause mild hallucinations.
5 PM tonight from the back deck . This fire is starting to get personal
