Rab, is that the new Polaris plant in Madison? Is it over there by the Harley Shop? Greenbrier road area. I grew up in Huntsville long time ago. I used to bird hunt in that area when all that was there was Hwy. 20.

I did go to the new assembly plant in Madison AL. There obviously isn't anything that I saw that was new or groundbreaking. Actually I did not even get to see a Slingshot being built today. They build these as they are ordered. And they had already ran all of the Slingshot orders today and switched over to Rangers. The good thing is he said I could come back next week and watch them build Slingshots... He actually was a super nice guy that was showing us the facility. He seemed to know every aspect of the facility. And I mean every part.....
What was kinda sad for me was they were actually working on some new model of the Slingshot in the back area where they normally put Slingshots together and I couldn't see it. It was RIGHT IN FRONT of me and I couldn't see it because they had it blocked off from view.....
I believe they are going to have a gift shop and im sure they will fill up that showroom area soon. It's just way to early right now.
-
Showing them your powertrain so that they can see what they should have put in it from the factory?
-
I did get a super spy shot of the assembly line...
-
You would think they would put something other than red ones in the showroom!
Just kidding all you fast red guys

I'll have more info next week and hopefully with their permission I can take a few pictures for yall. Today I just wanted to say howdy to them.
-

That is a burgundy color. And it looks sweet..
It was the first one built there. And I think i may have given them an idea. If they put the white plastic off of the blue Slingshot onto that burgundy Slingshot they would have a Alabama colored SS.. And then they would just need to paint a set of plastics orange to put back on the blue Slingshot. This would give them and Auburn SS.

I saw that color the other day at our local dealer very sharp color, I see they changed all the cabin parts to unpainted black.
I guess that will be easy to keep clean but hot as hell in the sun
