@Ruptured Duck feel free to pick away! Like I said, we love hearing what people build - or want to build - even if it's not with our products. As we grow and design new products, we are definitely open to hearing ideas about how we can (a.) either make our products better & (b.) design more suitable products for your needs. Any q's you have, even if I can't answer them myself, someone from our team surely can.
@MoraiMotion The high speed versions trade off speed for pushing (weight) force. What is the highest lift rating for the high speed versions?
May have to look at the hydraulic or pneumatic ( @rabtech approach) if 4-6 lbs is the max. -
Welcome MoraiMotion.
This is wonderful group of people with great ideas and humor. More like my own dysfunctional family
A lot of fun, a lot of laughs and a lot of advice.... all good and heart felt.Sent from my iPhone using Polaris Slingshot Info

Hmmm... I wonder how many others would be interested in that. It is difficult to get that much power in such a small actuator. We'd likely have to design a larger inline version or one with a planetary gearbox to increase the power abilities. I'll bring this up with the team though and see if it's something we can make in the near future. Thanks for the suggestion.
I think you could definitely find some interest - Don't think you need to open the hood fully, just raise it to a point were it is easy to open the rest of the way

@Ruptured Duck doesn't sound like the high-speed versions we are working on will fit your needs. The info I have so far is that they will have a speed of 44mm/sec (1.7 in/sec) with a force of 1.6 lbs. Also it will still be a few months until they are ready. (a few parts on back order). What is it you're trying to do?

Np @Ruptured Duck! I would have followed up sooner, but I didn't get the notification in my email. I'll rely on checking in here instead.

But it corners like a woodchipper on rails

I had mine at Home Depot last week for 2 bags of mortar. Went back a half hour later for two more. Then two more. Who needs a truck? I could build a house with this thing!

As long as it ain't Chinese you're speaking!
Just kidding... We accept Asians here, just not robot Asians... Think @Br4hm4 and @Turbosling are human... Well, not sure about Henry...
(full disclaimer for those PC sticklers... the Chinese comment is a joke based on the hacking that happened here and is currently at TDS... )
