Just bought a new money pit....
Looks like there's already a scratch on it...
-
my money pit, after completing surgery number 5 with the specialist today. He goes back next Wednesday, to see if the ballooning is keeping the esophagus open, or if additional scar tissue is getting us back in trouble.....
I seriously could have had a turbo, fancy rims & tires, custom seats, and a custom exhaust with what I have spent on him in the last 5 weeks...... wouldn't trade him for all the mods in the world, though. 2017- only mods to the sling will most likely be the gently used and recycled variety...... -

I would hock my sling if needed to make sure if my 4 legged son needed anything that complicated
You are special - to many people would say "its just a dog" -

he is such a special creature- knows when I am upset-- knows I am trying to make him better. The trust is incredible... He knows that vet hospital, knows they hurt him, and goes so willingly thru those doors.......Not a "kissy" lick your face dog by nature-- tonight, I got an absolute face washing when I picked him up. We are besties for life.

Yep. I would sell all my toys if either one of my dogs needed the money for surgery....
That pooch deserves to be the money pit.... Turbos, and crap like that will always be for sale... Go in there and hug your dog.....

I posted in here before, but left out pictures. Knowing a picture is worth 1000 words, I'll spare you over 6,000 of those... The first pic is me on my 2012 Road King. 105 rear wheel HP, 108 FT LB of torque. The second is my wife Sharon on her 2005 Super Glide (won't mention anything about her being a money pit ). It is currently running 85 HP with 90 FT LB of torque. Lighter bike, she's lighter than me (by a good bit) makes them fairly equal in riding (yes, I have the edge). Third is the other Road King I had until about a year ago, sold it and ended up using that towards my Slingshot. The 4th and 5th pics are when I was putting cams in my wife's bike to wake it up. The 6th pic is my truck, a 1994 Z71 with 131K actual on it. I use it in the winter when weather is bad here, and to haul or tow when needed. Everything works on it, runs and drives great, and very dependable. Used it to pull my trailer with the Harley Road King to Florida after Christmas 3 years ago. Does take some $$$ thrown at it to keep it up, and looking this nice, seeing how we live in the middle of Indiana. Still way cheaper than a new one, and serves me very well.

that was pretty cold,.... but funny, if you want cold but fun, here ya go. I've got about $8000 tied up with dry suits, dive computers, regs and other gear for it. The video was something I pulled off the web, it's all shot upside down

I grew up ice-fishing (from the right side of the ice), but I've been through it twice, and I jumped in (voluntarily) another time with icebergs still floating in the water. Cold as hell. You can keep that "Let's-go-dick-around-underwater-in-drysuits" jackassery.

As far as I can tell this is the only place ice is acceptable

Now, I am not a bourbon or Scotch connoisseur, but I was always told that ice/water in your straight booze is for weaklings.
