Changed my front wheels today and
The nuts were galled making them really hard to take off. These nuts are new and I hand tightened them.
I used some anti-seize on the tapered part when I put them back on

Oh no, a catastrophic nut failure
I have heard that rubbing the nuts really gently also works well.

I used an impact gun to remove them
Be careful using a impact you don’t want to bust your nuts.
The anti-seize is a good idea to apply to the threads too, as well as the tapered end. In the case of galled nuts, you might want to try some Gold Bond Baby Powder.

Also balls and nips... Just saying... Wait, what's this thread about?
Next time. Try the "pinch and roll" technique.
I hope with the anti seize your nuts don’t get loose going down the highway. Be sure and check them often or get the wife or girlfriend to watch your nuts. Just have them twist the nuts by hand to make sure they are tight.

You're not the only one having trouble with nuts
