$10 at a sign shop for some plastic, 4 zip ties and rattle can red paint.... My wife said seeing structural pipes is kind of what a SS is, so I made a filler panel instead.
Filler panels - homemade and cheap!!

Great job @lowlander. They look great. Who could have a problem with the price? Two thumbs, way up.

Any used ones available?
Pass the salt...

I certainly can share the template. Can scan mine in two pieces if anybody wants it. I painted the inside flat black, and the outside with the trim (red in my case) color. Three holes and two zip ties later, each side is installed.

Pass the salt...Damn it @MiM, now I have to Google it. Though it's probably to advanced for Google.

If you're looking for a great time at the dinner table, I recommend this hip new phrase called "pass the salt"... Be sure your date is someone other than your relative, because you'll be placing your leg on the toilet, while she's grabbing for the TP roll while trying to take a selfie because... It is the bathroom after all...

I liked the look of the first filler panels, so I made two more. One for each side to the rear of the others. Again, cheap and easy! That could well elicit a Tripod response though!

Looks awesome @lowlander! Is that something you're thinking of making for others?

- Thanks for the compliment. I am pretty happy with them. I would be happy to scan and post templates if anybody is interested in making their own. Really simple to create (X-acto type knife) and install (2 zipties per side and 8” per side of 3M 2 side emblem tape).

@lowlander...what is the cup holder?

@lowlander...what is the cup holder?
it's used to hold cylindrical objects containing liquids .... such as a cup, a tumbler, a bottle, etc.
Geeshhhhhh

Re cupholder - i don’t remember the brand. Took them off my E Glide when I sold it. Used P clamps to mount them to the SS. Great for holding a water bottle. One on each side. Using the SS cupholders were too hard on my elbow!!

How's about you make them in, dare I say, clear coated diamond plate...
Or black... I might do non-diamond black... TBD... But make them!

Not without permission... Look at how great a guy FunCycle was/is...

I think I saw clear diamond plate in plastic somewhere. As long as it has a bit of flex they would work.Templates would be free - I would post them as an attachment. I’m retired -no more business activity for me!!

I’m taking the SS to Cycle Springs in the morning for a brake light warning issue (hopefully just the common switch issue) and seat frame recall. Noel Hughes at Cycle Springs likes to make things. If he likes my filler panels he (or anybody else) is welcome to take my idea and run with it.

I made mine from body metal and shaped them to fit, powder coated to match and zipped tied in place. I think they really finish the side off nice
