Now that the weather is cooling off, I can get back in the garage and finish a few additions that were put on hold during the heat waves.
I am going to be installing the battery jump ports next weekend.
I know people have put them behind the driver's seat, in the storage area, and on the outside / back panel near the battery.
Any benefit of one location vs. the other?
If jumping the Sling, I would need to be sitting in the driver's seat to push in the clutch and turn key.
If the ports are behind the seat, any concerns with the jumper cable clamps making contact with the seat frame?
Some have put them in the storage area. Is that a possible fire hazard?
Thoughts, opinions, suggestions appreciated.
