I pray for a rapid recovery. Stick with the rehab as it will be worth it when it's over.
God bless you and your's. -
I hope this is your physical therapy nurse. Should make your recovery much more pleasant -
If that's the nurse I'm injuring myself right now!!!

Lots of gauze, a bunch of stitches and staples, a fiberglass splint so it can't bend, all covered in several ace bandages.
Won't be able to bend it for 2 weeks. At least it'll be worth it when it's all over! -

@Joker256 The Million Dollar Man and Wolverine had to go through surgery. Now they are badasses. I have some high hopes for you brother, MLB may be getting a new STAR Pitcher.
Million dollar man is probably about right once I get the bill for all of this.
As far as a MLB pitcher, I'm not from the Dominican republic. So I don't stand chance with that. -
What a disappointment this is for you!! God's speed.

Saw the Doc this morning. I asked how long before before I can drive a stick shift.
He said, minimum 6 months, but there is a possibility of never being able to without pain.
The damage was much more severe that the MRI showed.
However, he said there's always a chance I will kill it in therapy and be better sooner. Everybody is different. That automatic transmission conversion is starting to look like better option. Hopefully it won't come to that.
One at or another, I'll be in a sling at some point. Hopefully sooner than later.
I need to talk to @Turbosling and see if it'll even be financially possible for me.
Hoping so. -
I have a quick fix for you. Sit in the passengers seat of the rabtech machine after he finishes this engine swap. Let him take you for a ride. That should scare the crap out of you and 6 months will go by quickly. Just kidding he is a hell of a driver but only knows how to use the go fast pedal.

Yesterday was a bad day. Su I called The doc like he told me too. The doc said to call today if my pain level hadn't gone down.
Well, I did. He said I shouldn't feel anything. Then asked how many mg they gave me. I told him I as given 5mg pills and as taking 2 as instructed.
Well, apparently because I'm a big guy, 275lbs, I was supposed to get 10mg pills!
He said no wonder I was In pain. Told me to take 4 of what I have to compensate. He will have the right meds delivered to me Monday.
I can say this....
Now, with the right meds, I feel goooood!
