We were at rally in Kerrville, TX running the Sisters and I was following Boomer into a curve. Looked like a big branch in the road — Boomer tried to avoid it but caught it with his rear tire. Turns out it was a rattler about 14 feet long (maybe longer - had to guess as it flew thru the air at me). Had to decide whether to take my chances with the snake or go over the side of the mountain. The mountain idea was winning until the snake dropped right in front of me. And THAT is why I will never follow Boomer ever again

Sure you can lead. I don’t mind at all. By the way , my brother in law is going to be with us He just got an anniversary edition HD trike. He and his wife are coming. He wants to ride rattler, tail of dragon and some blue ridge parkway. I know you know those roads, so just lead on

If we do the Tail of the Dragon we do it early in the day before the crazys come out. Lots of great roads in the Maggie area.
