A Dr. I spoke with said his daughter had the virus and was quarantined over there. The day I spoke with him he said that she liked 2 days being done and that she was about to go crazy not being able to be at work.

Two days and over it?

Two days and over it?
No no, the day I spoke to him she only liked 2 days finishing her quarantine period. I assumed that she was quarantined 14 days.

Best of luck to her. I could use that $1k and if my wife gets it that's $2k Ohhh the parts I could buy...

Did you see that for couples it was above $3,000

Well that's if it passes. The last I read they were putting caps on low income and upper income and only going full pay outs on the middle from like $35k to 150K would cap it. if you make more no $$ for you. I don't want to go all political, these days there are some strong opinions out there but man this administration can't seem to get it's 'ish together.

I believe this type of assistance is needed, especially for small businesses and restaurants that rely on relatively low margins to make any profit. We try to buy take-out from our regular restaurants at least once per day and have noticed that some of them have already shutdown or have greatly reduced their hours.
From what I've read, some of our larger industries, the airlines come to mind, have recently spent enormous sums buying back stock to increase investor profits while failing to maintain any operating reserve and that is part of the reason they're now screaming for a bailout. The early versions of the economic stimulus efforts I've seen seem to be relatively unrestricted as far as how the stimulus will be spent and reportedly included little control over how funds were to be used. Most folks receiving assistance will probably spend those funds to pay current bills, but that has not been the behavior most large businesses have practiced with past assistance/tax cuts.
