    Good job! Blame the victim! Forced sex, whether through the use of actual force, violence, threats of retaliation or never working again in a chosen field is still rape! Weinstein was in a position of power and abused that power to get vulnerable people to submit, although based on some of the allegations, he simply raped women he knew would meet with him under the guise of contract negotiations or other similar excuses. People sometimes make decisions they wouldn't ordinarily make when facing difficult situations where they feel powerless to resist.

    Harvey is definitely a strange dude but I believe these women know what the hell they were doing to get ahead, no pun intended. It's funny how you can look back and say yeah I really made the wrong choice and I'm going to blame it on somebody else. Anybody remember Monica Lewinsky

    hanging around Harvey they knew he was a man of great influence if you wanted an acting gig. And with that comes wealth and fame. If I don’t want mugged or car jacked or killed....there are certain places I don’t go in the daytime or night time....he didn’t sneak up on them. They knew exactly who he was.


    my guess is just today there were many girls/women willingly lined up to get a seat on someone’s couch for a lottery ticket....VICTIMS? Hardly. Exploitation is a ticket to riches....everyone has a price.

    I can’t swim....Harvey is in a boat in the middle of the ocean surrounded by sharks but I really want to be a movie star....should I try to swim to him or stay on the beach?     I’m not going to pretend I know what happened with these girls and Harvey. What was said, what was promised what they did or didn’t do, what they wanted or didn’t want or expect.

    Harvey made his bed....he’s going to sleep in it. Do I think he could have made false promises over the years.....YEP...maybe it came around to bite him. Did he ever make anyone rich and famous....YEP....are they sad about it? Will they step up and say they voluntarily used the couch to get where they are? What a great guy...I would be poor without him....did they enjoy the money? Anybody here that doesn’t know Hollywood is a cesspool? That wild stuff goes on there and it could be very dangerous, while it could be very prosperous.

    I personally know several rape victims.....one has been talking to me about it right now for several months...she was drugged in a bar....we split up over 7 years ago.....over the years I have prevented people from committing suicide....people will never stop hurting themselves or putting themselves in personal danger from bad judgement. I worked on the job with two guys everyday for years that committed suicide....one even came to my house with his girlfriend About a year before that. Nobody knows why they did it.
