Do you want one?

Naw, I think I'll keep mine for now

I wonder if there are exhaust smells in the cabin?

It looks like if you can't see the next gas station from the station you're leaving, you're gonna be walking...

Motorcycles don't have cabins. I occasionally hear people here complain they are not welcome in some motorcycling events, bet you wouldn't have that problem with this machine.

That's just a car show bike, they don't get rode much.

Deb and I ride ours every chance we get -- been all over the north east with the Cheetah, heading to Maine for a two week tour the first of august -- just something about twisting the throttle and hearing the V-8 roar ( we enjoy the sling to but this thing has balls )

Thank you, it just turned 25,000 miles and in case your wondering it gets 18 miles to a gallon of gas (at 120 miles you need to start looking for a gas station) but we didn't get it for the gas mileage.

Must be a fairly comfortable ride then. I keep up with different types of V8 trikes, the Cheetah is one of the lower priced ones. How much air in them rear tires?

Got any ride by video's of your cheetah? Maybe a little smoke coming off the tires?
-
I run 15lbs of air in the rear tires, no i don't have any ride vids of the Cheetah ( I'm not that good with the video side of things )

You could not pay me to drive a Boss Hoss or any V8 trike. I bought my father's from the estate when he passed away. I had obviously worked on and ridden it when he was alive. I just didnt ride if far enough. If I had I would have NEVER bought it...
YOU THINK THE SLINGSHOT IS HOT..... it's not even 1/10th as hot as setting on top of a 350cu in Chevy engine on the hot August day on the interstate. Now magnify that heat x10 when the big ass radiator fan kicks on and absolutely suffocates you. Then magnify that X10 when you have to come to a stop on the interstate and you are moving just fast enough that you cant just shut it off.
I had this happen to me going into Chattanooga for the Trail of Tears ride. Allison was riding with me and I actually was worried about her. She actually threw up she was so hot.
Never again will I own a something like that.... I have been there and done that and got the cookie.....

Sure are nice to look at, wouldn't want to ride...
And yes, that's a tribute to a Tripod moment

I was on the Boss Hoss forum for quite a while and certainly seem to have there share of problems. Rough ride, heat from the radiator, not that easy to get on and off etc. The Cheetah trike has the radiator in the back (big plus in my book). And the Cheetah also has QA1 shocks on the rear which are highly adjustable (another plus) over the BH trikes. But just like the slingshots the V8 trikes are not for everybody.
-
Now it did have one neat thing. You could smoke both back tires and push the locked front tire at the same time. It would make 3 back marks down the highway......

I'd like to hear what @Brucee says about the heat on the Cheetah. He has 25000 miles on his and loves it. I doubt you see those kind of miles on a Boss Hoss trike.
If it were mine I can guarentee it wouldnt reach 25000 miles. I'm afraid it would have met its untimely demise at the bottom of one of the tallest cliffs I could find. If a cliff wasn't available I'm afraid it would have met its untimely demise during a routine refueling.
I dont normally have these criminal ideas in my head. But after 30 minutes on that hot ass thing you will do things a sane person wouldnt normally do.

I have a radiator on the rear. Made a huge difference in reducing heat in the SS. My front fans never turn on anymore.
