The horseshoe brace is soft as a feather pillow. It is definitely the one that I will be using. Remember I dont wear a helmet. So I can still turn both ways and move my neck fairly freely. I just need the cushion to give the back of my neck some relief.
Now the Simpson neck brace is evil. It is so stiff that I can absolutely see your point. And if I were using it will full gear in a professional racing situation I would go with it. It would not let you move your head at all.
The RJS Horseshoe is exactly what I needed. It kinda like the neck brace that you get with a child's car seat.
If someone wants the Simpson brace I will gladly give it to them for free. I'll bring it to Maggie Valley if yall want to give it a try. It was like 35.00 and I just cant see sending it back. If you are going to be on a track i can see where it would be very good at keeping your head positioned straight ahead.

Am I the only one that gets super excited whenever I am holding a quality piece of hardware. I actually started sweating just reading the instruction manuals. There must be something wrong with me. As i was reading it my mind was translating it into some kind of pornographic novel. I know that everyone can not be as excited to see new quality tools and components as I am
.

I will not even begin to tell you how excited I was to see all the beautiful colors in this box...

I even made a video of how soft this horseshoe neck brace is. Its putty compared to the Simpson. The horseshoe brace should be just what I need to give me a tiny bit more support.

Super fast RED is missing

I had to power it on to see how bright the display is. And it's super bright. I am loading the software now to customize the displays.

I so want one of these, but it comes at the cost of an aftermarket ECU, not quite ready for that...

Like wokka, I love the looks & functionality of that gauge, but the aftermarket CPU is too much expense for my budget and too much complication for my needs/skill level.

I have figured out that it will not fit where the speedometer and tachometer are located. However I have an idea that will put it above the dash and I am thinking that I may mount my Innovate boost controller in the hole the speedometer was in. And maybe mount some other gauge in the circle the tachometer used to be in.
I'll have pics later. I was outside at 3am looking at how it would all fit. I'm pretty sure I will still look over the top of the AEM display. I actually look over my tall windshield when I'm driving.

I freaking love the smell of fresh packing tape and cardboard!
And you take it all to bed with you!
