The stock pads are very dusty I want to upgrade them. First I need to know what car are the pads from ?

I just stole this from the "dark side"
You can use 02 through 06 Honda civic. And just search around and pic your compound but took it out and drove it hard for 2 hours big difference no more fading and stops hard now. Used to get a little shimmy shake and could tell when the pads were hot. Thanks to ron rish for the heads up on the upgrade. Well worth it.
Thanks @chad warren -
Will need to go find one of my early post over on the DS. It showed what you needed to do to install the Hawk Honda pads.
Come to think of it i need to rewrite it over here in the DYI section. -
I was reading the dark side and saw it was a 1998 to a 2002 Honda Accord

You don't have to steal from the dark side. What do you need to know.
-
If yall remember I installed Brembo Brake pads and showed everyone what tiny area to grind to make them fit perfect
-
And I'll do u one better..... I have a set new in the box. I am seriously thinking about giving them to one lucky member.
-

I apparently dropped the box or did somthing that chipped off an edge of one of the pads. It's completely irrelevant. These pads cover more area than the stock pads do anyway. All that you have to do to run these pads is grind that little tit off the top edge of the pads. They are very aggressive. And will stop you a good bit faster than the OR pads.
-
Here is just how big these pads are....
The pictures also have the places you need to grind them to get them to work perfectly
So how many people are interested in having this set sent to your door for free....

What part number are the brembos you installed ?
-
These ceramic pads from O'Reillys will also work, producing less dust...
-
-
LESS BRAKE DUST!!! My prayers have been answered. I bet I have used 40 gallons of Mothers on my chrome wheels....O'Reilly's here I come
-
Rab, I'm very interested in the pads if you haven't gotten rid of them yet!!!
-
Who wouldn't want a set of those pad? I certainly know I would.

first.... Charge your phone...
Second.... The write up I'll do shows how to remove metal wear indicators. -
I wouldn't know how to act if I got sumthin for free for my Sling. If I'm not payin a crapload of cash it just doesn't feel right after this long

Just pay it forward

The Brembo will put off some serious brake dust. The Ceramic pads I run now DO NOT have a lot of dust. And they require only popping the wear tab off the pad.
