@MiM, I keep forgetting to ask, did you take that gently used section of guard rail home with you?

I just left one of our local body shops. I've been friends with the owner all my life. He is a true perfectionist. We are going to get together next week after he gets back from a trade show and get a good estimate. Stay tuned!
Good news so far. Very large local bodyshop (family friends) came back with a good price range. $1500-$1900 depending on disassembly/assembly time. They talked me out of the candy paint job and into Krypton green, the 2017 Camaro color. That leaves room for more accessories!
Need some advice on the following items that won't break the bank but be reputable sellers:
Black wheels stock size for 2015 sl (have brand new tires already).
Non adjustable touring shocks (black) -

The added cost mainly. The adjustable appear to add about $700 in cost. I rarely ride fast and never intend to go on a track. Roads in South Arkansas are rough. Looking for a smoother ride.

I second that @Drew71646 the roads here are terrible. what is your time frame on when you were wanting to paint? if you want to save a little cash i will help you take the panels off.

I appreciate it. I just don't have the off time between now and Eureka to tackle disassembly/assembly. He is gonna start on it on Tuesday. I will definately holla when I get shocks and seats for a little help!

@Drew71646 and @Trooper, if you want a smoother ride you really do want the adjustable shocks. The roads in town in NWA are terrible too. The adjustable shocks can be set for a much smoother ride than the standard shocks. I put QA-1s on my first SS and it was a drastic improvement. My wife's SS has QA-1s and I love how it rides compared to my new SLR. Changing mine over to JRI's, hopefully before Eureka.
If you want some stock shocks with about a thousand miles on them I would be happy to bring them to Eureka a give them to you. BTW, I will also have a set of black and orange SLR springs available soon. -

Install the QA-1's you will not believe the ride difference and right now the price is real good

You are absolutely right @Orangeman. And you would know. Don't know what I was thinking. Have to review my stuff better before posting. Her shocks are what convinced me to go with the JRI's. I loved my QA-1s. They were a drastic improvement over the stock shocks but her JRI's are drastically better than those.

During disassembly, has anyone had an excessive amount of the tabs broken due to vibration/flex. The worst sections were the outer hood pieces. Had about 10 tabs broken on various hood pieces.

MiM, I take it you had the same issue?
