Nothing is immune to the hatred and intolerance from the left. I realize most could care less about cycling. I like to watch events like the Amgen Tour of California not just for cycling but it's great to watch as it highlights the beauty of places like California.

I was speaking to the failure to admit wrong, defending every wrong.
I defend Trump on accomplishments. I defend Trump when he is wrongly blamed for the outcome of something. I defend Trump on having his idea work better than the other was working or would have worked. Not in this thread, because I would just be part of the echo chamber.

unfortunately with the implementation of “hate speech” cancel culture, political correctness and any other thing that a liberal snowflake can pick that might offend them.....if you’re a public official, sports figure, movie star, news caster you should watch your words and opinions on face crap and others. You could become a target for revenge real fast.....I don’t do social media for a reason....If everyone would give up these sites.....things might change.....I’m surviving without posting my Personal every waking Moment with pictures in a public platform...woke up, went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, ate breakfast, pooped, checked my email, deleted over 200, watched tv, wrote a shopping list, paid bills, went to the bank.....What’s even worse.....there are millions of losers waiting to read it..

I loved that Obama was primarily responsible for gay marriage being no longer an issue. A same sex couple can now be legally married in any state. Bravo! I wish my own state (Florida) had done it first to rake in that disposable income lavish wedding money.... I'm a capitalist at heart.
I despise that Trump has expanded the droning program; and sad that this doesn't get more press.
I hope that if he is reelected he scales this back so that those "people over there" can heal and one day learn not to hate us. I hope that if reelected Trump extends his peacenik ways.

I'm with you, but that hate has sadly been reaffirmed over generations. There are no good answers to the middle east problem. Generations of people lost, grandparents, parents, children, property, livelihood at the hands of the U.S. No matter how noble our intentions or how evil some of those family members were. They can't bring those family members back And will hate us for it. When we accidentally kill one innocent person, that act can create thousands of people that will hate us and seek to bring us down.They will hate us for a very long time.
Only the state of Washington got it right. They legalized gay marriage & marijuana at the exact same time & that is Biblical. It says in the Bible that “Any man who lies with another man shall be stoned.”

but the very people that have been brainwashed.....constantly watch the same crap without fact checking or doing any other investigation.....I watch Fox, NBC, for both sides of the news I read Yahoo news on the internet.....I fact check many stories. The brainwashed individuals take every word they hear as gospel truth. Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear......the major problem is over the years there has been a dishonest agenda presented to a gullible public that still thinks news today is From the same credible Honest journalists as Walter Cronkite offered. They believe the news is presented with only the true facts....they don’t understand that much of it is Now deliberately mixed with political opinion. Believing every word from every reporter/journalist as True fact Today is a huge mistake. With the news media being controlled (owned) and controlled (as in the content put forth) that fits a Specific usually politically biased narrative Which many totally miss or misunderstand, fact checking is extremely important......but if that fact checking is done by just turning unwittingly to another outlet that is controlled by the same one you just watched.....the outcome will be the same....your “facts“ we’re just confirmed by the same Biased source. Which still renders them useless. But the brainwashing seed has been implanted..and confirmed....it worked very well for Hitler....It’s alive and well today.
people need to take the person out of the office and look at the actions of that person.....take Trump out of the Oval Office and insert the word president.....what has the president regardless of political party done to benefit the country? Not something he said that rubbed you the wrong way.....what has the president actually done to benefit you or benefit the country and Or the world......now ask that of every politician. Has your mayor, governor, senator, house rep....sheriff ....office only not the actual person.....If you believe that officer office holder has benefitted the country then re-elect them....if not choose someone you believe will benefit the country.....that’s how it should be....but with one party pushing for drastic changes and talking about eliminating the constitution or parts of it to fit their agenda....

It seems terrorists have been relatively quiet these past few years. Perhaps take this opportunity to embrace a more hands off approach to the area. Hopefully economic pressures/temptations will help them shift focus.
A few years ago I was watching the movie about the Benghazi siege and close to the end when the Syrian forces came to rescue the remaining Americans there were arab females embracing the bodies of their dead family members. It was a powerful scene.
