Can't say this wasn't expected. Green sounds good, but isn't the be all and end all.
All these people pushing this know it is just satisfying the far left green zealots - in reality it will never happen in that time frame….

Bravo!
Just thinking here... if the college degree "you" got isn't working well enough for YOU to pay it off ... then it certainly isn't worth it for me to pay it off - I have paid for 4 - that's enough for me.
If it's any comfort it isn't going anywhere. My guess is democrats will make a big talk before the midterms and after the midterms they'll blame somebody for not getting it done.
Getting my usual text messages from the state and then there’s this. Oh by the way there are 33 million cars registered in California I’m sure the grid will be just fine by the time all are electric.
BTW. A comfortable 78 at my Casa😎

78 in my home as well - - - 116 outside and the solar panels on my roof are currently feeding extra powering the grid at the rate of around 3.6 kW
but more to your point this state of ours really needs to make some major improvements to our grid and also add some rather substantial storage solutions if they ever expect to actually have most cars be electric like they say they want
I have a feeling we're in for a price hike on utilities coming this winter. Not to the extent as over in Europe but significant especially if we keep drawing from our reserves.

Watching this is priceless!
That's what happens when the inmates are running the asylum!

One of the things that don't make sense: why isn't the grid it's strongest during the day when all the solar is working?
78 in my home as well
you have 1 big ass house! WOW
I guess a LOT of people have a tough choice to make, but thinking it out clearly like this guy did, the choice becomes obvious.

Solar doesn't account for nearly as much as is being used. With regards to generation, solar and wind together only account for approx 4% of power generation. There is no way wind, solar, and even hydroelectric can every keep up with the amount generated by fossil fuels. It's a nice supplement on a small scale, but as a main source, it's not viable.
Just released by the left.... In the interest of National Security, all one need to know about this document......
Situations like this is why a bit of training and taking responsibility for your weapons should be required. Too many people seem to be lax in their handling of a weapon.
Not keeping your weapon secured when around children is a real hazard obviously.

A comparison from the mind of a Canadian.
Kinder Eggs in their original form are banned in US due to the toy inside being a possible choking hazard for children. Not being responsible for your guns is OK, but chocolate eggs with a suprise inside is illegal..HMMMMMM

I agree that with that statement. I am guessing your 4% is from Canada.... as it it more like 20% here in the US... but still even with all that is being done solar, wind, and hydro cannot keep up with electrical demand which is growing faster than alternative generation.
It’s a heck of way to boil water but with the new sulfur plants it makes a lot of sense I believe.

The DOW closed at 31,188 on Joey's inauguration day.
Back in mid June we where back under that for 10 days and right now back down to 31,240 and dropping with a prime time "get off my lawn you semi-fascists" teleprompter reading tonight. Wonder how much he will be talking about the economy.

I've been hearing a lot about "mini" nuclear power stations. Possibly somewhat safer and more manageable?

Big losses for the people who have worked and contributed all their lives. But, hay, best to focus benefits for future voters who at this point don't have much skin in the game. Thats the plan. Just great! I'm supporting but at the same time I'm cutting back. Thanks Joe!

That could easily be turned around to say that Canada has no regard for the safety of their children ..
Especially given :
"Suffocation, choking and strangulation are the leading cause of unintentional injuries and death in infants and young children in Canada."
https://hi.easternhealth.ca/he…on-choking-strangulation/
That is the danger of attempting to conflate two completely different situations in an attempt to bolster a partisan talking point.
