    Have been working with a friend to help him open a new shop (financially and otherwise) it is needed in our town and will still be after this passes. Just moved our projected date to go operational from June 1st to July 1st and everyone involved is more than amicable. When I walked in to the complex managers office Monday morning, unannounced, I thought he was going to hug me when I just postponed rather than cancelling the contract.


    Learned over the years with Hurricanes that knocked out entire local industries you have to keep moving forward as long as you can. Those who work hard, treat people right, and make it out the other side usually do quite well ....

    I can stand on my own two feet thank you. Made it myself, can spend it when and where I wish, and if that doesn't work out I will handle it myself. Don't put my hand out unless its extended to give someone a hand up.

    the fear is many small businesses will fail because of the lockdown of employees....


    the chances of a new business failing in the first 5 years is huge...the biggest reason is failing to have enough money put aside to whether slow times...


    not every indivual or families are independently wealthy....it was also designed to try to prevent a recession... if anyone doesn’t need the money donate it....


    $1000 barely covers my girlfriends over $600 a month for health insurance...which right now is more important than paying your mortgage....they will drop your coverage if you’re a week late...it takes months to evict you.

    When the smoke clears and this thing is behind us in the rear view mirror I hope that if we as a country only learn one thing it is that it is foolish to continue to allow important things like medications or other necessities to be made in other countries.


    If we learn from this and return manufacturing home so that we are not dependent on anyone other than ourselves in time of crises then it will all have been worth it


    I guess sometimes you need to get kicked in the nuts just to remind you that the extra time and cost of protection is worth it 8o

    So just a couple thoughts:


    1. I don't believe in any conspiracy theory that assumes competence. That's just silly!


    2. I don't believe in any conspiracy theory that assumes more than two people can keep a secret. That's even sillier!


    3. Pompeii was an inside job. There never was a volcano at all, that's just the cover story!

    How to fix the social security shortfall $$$$:




    There are so many conspiracies out there so I came up with my own.




    Delay testing, so we don’t have any virus victims. Numbers matter.




    Make sure the health care providers, including nurses and doctors don’t have the proper gear.



    Call the whole virus thing a hoax.



    Make sure we don’t have the necessary equipment to save elderly 60+ and the ones with preexisting conditions.



    Plame the other party, and previous administrations.



    Hey the problem is solved.

    this is why social security is broke.....they stole our money.



    younger people that think there won’t be any money for them to collect...use this to decide who you’re going to vote for...this election...and why it matters. One political party is driving us full speed down the tubes and one is trying to jam on the brakes..


    collecting social security payments screws up their socialism plan....they want you broke ...the better to control you with my dear...

    Well, they closed down the casino where my wife works Tuesday night at 6pm just 2 hours before Sara would have normally started her shift. She is trying to adjust her internal clock so that she can function during the day instead of sleeping - - this morning she forced herself to get up with me at 6:30am and when I went to work she made a run to the market where they opened just for seniors - - 8th in line to get in and she actually managed to get some toilet paper before it all ran out again - - - Palm Springs is on total shut down - all business that are not considered essential ordered to close and restaurants can only do delivery - - - these are some very interesting times

    You can always use the slingshot to go grocery shopping. Perhaps you like the store that's just a bit out of the way. They may have Toilet Paper at a further location! :)
