SSBODYKITS.COM NEW ROOFS FOR MAGGIE VALLEY,,, AND WINDSHIELDS TOO !

  • Heh @MiM @'Neosolidus @Kenny_h @funinthesun', this one tagged rwalker302, is more interesting, believe it or not the larger one (after a very time consuming plug development time) can be reproduced and marketed at a much more affordable cost than the U.E. one , as it is a typical one piece mold , open at the back for laminating. Something similar to that is doable if you think there,s a market ? what do you think @Irobbi Could you see yourself purchasing something like that, the round ducts could be functional as directing cooling air in the direction of the brakes etc?

That front is not bad looking - aggressive styling. I like this!

  • sorry @Street Doc but the thread got a little derailed here, if your talking about that new front end mentioned above its just a preliminary discussion about possibilities. if your talking our new roofs we did all our high speed testing with that bondoed up prototype two weeks ago in very crappy weather , we did plenty of cruising at 80 mph but were only able to run it up to 100 for quick short bursts on the back roads as while we have access to a cascar track here, he was consistently shut down for weather. we ran a number of miles with the wind and against the wind as they were significant each day, shimming our roof up and down 1/4 inch at a time above the frame rails , even at the hundred mph bursts the roof never lifted off the rails and had to be caught by the safety bolts we had slacked off and in place for that reason.
