Damn.... you guys already beat me to the punch about towing miles.... But @rabtech has me beat when it comes on the lift time, I've only gone through two ecotecs and I'm on my first Honda,he is way ahead of me in that department.
Who already has over 400HP Slingshot to the wheel?

@rabtech you are one of the most humblest builders on any forum I've ever been a member on. Trying to keep up with your changes and your posts as you discover what works and don't indeed is a blue print for those wishing to wrench, invest, test and enjoy! You seem to keep looking and finding that higher limit that the slings can take without truly blowing it up LOL which is to be commended. You are a man who understands that to truly understand something one must break it every once in a while, and also be willing to take a perfectly working thing apart to figure it out! Eventually Polaris will have a true "make it your own Sling" national advertisement, where they will select maybe ten slings from across the nation that have been modified tastefully for pleasure, race, show or perhaps all--and your sling will be one of those chosen along with you to appear in those commercials! I'm looking forward to seeing you wearing the Panda hat standing next to your amazing Sling and doing a nationwide advertising tour for Polaris to beef up interest and of course sales lol
Just remember @StickerDick you could have kept your 2.4 block. But I do understand your need to have a well manicured yard....

I just don't understand why you guys couldn't just leave them stock!
-
Confucius say a well balanced and temperature controlled 2.4 Ltr stock block could handle 400 hp.... “at the crank”
I am looking for that damn Confucius

For one, passing others at certain speeds was kind of sketchy, the added power takes care of that issue.
Personally, I also like to challenge others on the hi ways, stock just didn’t do it for me, it looks fast but it didn’t run fast.
Each to their own, some like setting up big stereos or lights, I like power so for me, the SC was instant happiness! -

I think he is up to measuring in gallons per hour.

@MACAWS Brother you are so far away from stock horsepower... what are you up to?..
Lets just call it tweaking!
Yep that is a good name for it. -
I will be there as a spectator

Let's see what @StickerDick wants to do. If he says yes then I will make a separate thread in the Event section inviting others to participate and spectate.

How many miles on the trailer?
-
Probably 1/4 the miles on the slingshot....

But you have to join us at Roebling Road - It is a much bigger track than FIRM - I think you would like it

I just don't like the technical turns of a road course track. Not sure how to explain that. Just can't seem to learn a track and all the details fast enough to be even slightly competitive. Somthing like the Cherahola Skyway took me years to learn all the dips a turns.
I want to take the driver out of the equation so the 1/2 mile shootout will do just fine. That way we show the Slingshot's strengths and not the drivers.
I have never never never said that I was a good driver... I suck at driving. That is one reason I need all the power I have. People like @FunCycle and @Dogs can run right with me because I slow down in turns but I can make up serious ground on every straightaway.
The 1/2 mile shootout is just like driving down the road at 30mph and looking over at the car beside you and both of you nailing the gas. It's motor vs motor.

I like the idea of the 1/2 mile shootout as well.
