Our sling has officially claimed its first victim. Wife was sitting at a stop light today and noticed the people in the car beside her were pointing and talking when she all of a sudden heard a screech and then bang! The car beside her got rear ended by a pickup. 'Painter', you were correct when you said this paint job will cause accidents. As long as we aren't directly involved, that's fine with me. Just doing what we can to support our local body shop
How many accidents has your sling caused?

Accidents = 2 so far I was not involved in either one.
-
One for me!!

Don't know whether to like or dislike the posts. I'm just glad that none of us are on the receiving end of the accident equation!!! A lot of close calls, but that is it. Let's just hope it stays that way...for all of us!!!

Rabtech on my wife's phone.....
2 confirmed. I actually watched the person in each accident HIT the person in front of them while staring at my SS.
-
3 here: 1 vehicular (rear ender - driver staring at Sling & rammed into stopped car at traffic light); 1 baseball in the side of the face when the person receiving the throw turned to stare; 1 bicycle into a telephone pole turning back to stare as I zipped by (saw that one in the mirror)

I got one guy next to me gauking and staring boom rear ends stopped traffic in front of him.
-
Caused 2, first one I was drunk and don't remember anything, second one I was texting and didn't see anything! J/K
-
2 so far....both rear ended the car in front... 1 happened right beside me think I pooped a lil.
-
I kind of feel like a shithead for liking all of these...No, no I don't either. I don't care who you are, that's funny right there!

Two rearenders and a guy driving off with a gas pump nozzle.

Well, I had a good day at work, came home, son had hockey practice, on the way home my check engine light came on,...damn,...maybe it had something to do with the freak'n deer I hit......with my truck. Not much damage, just the grille, plus the check engine light. Let the dogs outside,... go to the garage and inspect the damage,.... damn it, I can smell a skunk. GREAT, both dogs got sprayed. They killed the SOB but paid the price. This is me now....

1 for me but my ss wasn't part of it luckily and that was almost a year ago
-
Only had one, hoping for no more.

About caused a convenience store worker to be ran over. Some dude was eye-phucking the SS hard while backing from a parking space and a worker was pushing a cart of trash behind him. Knocked the trash over but luckily did not the the worker. Lots of WHOA WHOA WHOA going on.

One as of Friday... Heading west past a long string of cars stopped heading east at a stop light. This wasn't a short string of cars, nobody was moving and that was very obvious. The car approaching the rear of this string locked eyes on my Sling as I passed the last car to my left. I heard one quick chirp and a very loud bang. Caught the left rear view mirror to see debris flying. I was accelerating above 45mph with traffic behind me and not much I could do except flinch. Probably just as well, can't imagine anything nice would have come from that conversation.

Sounds like we're all throwing a little chlorine into the gene pool...
