Since Mrs. Tickbit can't leave the driveway without getting lost, I've been considering installing the Pioneer AVIC-8201NEX. Since we do not have a top, i have been concerned about being able to see the screen on sunny days. I thought by using the Scosche Double DIN kit with sun visor thinking that it will help with glare since the head unit is mounted more vertical than at an angle.

Has anyone used this combo and do you have any issues with glare?? Or does anyone have any other suggestions or advice??

Our sling has officially claimed its first victim. Wife was sitting at a stop light today and noticed the people in the car beside her were pointing and talking when she all of a sudden heard a screech and then bang! The car beside her got rear ended by a pickup. 'Painter', you were correct when you said this paint job will cause accidents. As long as we aren't directly involved, that's fine with me. Just doing what we can to support our local body shop :D

'Andy Hatch', hang in there bud! There is nothing easy about fighting this disease, but keep your head high and stay strong! We are all here for you. Feel free to pm me if you need someone to talk to. My wife has gotten to know this disease very well and can talk circles around most doctors when it comes to treatment! It has changed our lives and so passionate about creating awareness that we had 'Painter' work his magic and create tickbit for us.

Wow! Sorry to hear @MACAWS, we definitely know what you have gone and are currently going through. My wife's problems also started with piercing headaches along with bone and joint pain. She said she was hearing a constant sizzling noise (like bacon in a frying pan) in her head that drove her absolutely insane. It took several doctors and ER visits before she was diagnosed with Erichliosis, Bartenella, Babesia, and Lyme Disease. She too still suffers from head aches, light sensitivity and joint pain but doing better over all. Our oldest has a list of symptoms a mile long but the primary ones are bone and joint pain, headaches, insomnia. And our other children have a mirage of symptoms also. It's a horrible disease that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

Our dog was also diagnosed with Lyme at 7 months old and was treated immediately after removing the engorged tick with doxycycline and she has never been the same since. We are sure she either has damage caused by Tick Borne Diseases or she still has an active infection.

Hope we get to meet soon too!!

@MACAWS you are correct. My wife and three kids were diagnosed with Lyme Disease few years ago. My wife is doing better, but the kids are still suffering with our oldest (15) is classified as having chronic Lyme. It's a disease, if not caught and treated right away, can be very hard to remedy. Making trips to out of state to doctors has been a part of our life for the past several years. Painting the sling Lyme Green was another way to raise awareness.

    Introducing #35 AKA TickBit!
Meeting @Painter was an amazing experience. We came in with one expectation and one expectation only- It had to be Lime Green. And then his creativity took over! @Painter you are one of a kind with a heart of gold. The video doesn't do this paint job any justice, it really does change as the sun hits it. Didn't have a whole lot of sun during the 300 mile journey home, but times when the sun did come out, it looked completely different. Ah hell, there was one point I thought I was trippin'. :/

And what he didn't show under the hood can't go unrecognized either! Thanks again!!!!

My wife and I enjoyed some more hardware for our SS Super Bee that was painted by Painter. Terre Haute THOMPSON's Motor Sports Bike show on Saturday. Took first in "Wild Class" and beat some really really awesome bikes. I think a wicked cool cover would have put us closer to Best of Show. Can't wait to get our coil cover painted. Hopefully will have a melting skull of honey with bees coming out of it. Proud to show off our sparkling Super Bee.

Congratulations @super Bee!! I love the color!

Congrats KayTwo! @Painter does it again!
