No spoiler on the @FunCycle SlingShot
We're talking about the front spoiler (wing). At one point I looked back and i swear I could see the serial number on his headlight bulbs.
-
Here is my favorite pic....Bob performing a custom tune. Oh and if you look at the tip of my nose you can see where I got smoked by a rock...

OK, I stand corrected. Was not thinking about that one.

it was a pleasure to meet you @DKF Texas! Thanks for giving me that extra kick in the butt I needed to pull the trigger on the Alpha / JRI suspension!!

Thanks @StickerDick.... You worked so much and put together a great day for so many of us to enjoy. The ride and the Scenic Views was breath taking. Here are a few pics of Mark doing what he does so well....Never sleeps just work work and more work... Thanks brother for making this a great event.
I'll admit.... I am still trying to recover, but it was fun. And thank you for posting some pictures just to prove I was doing more than just sitting on my ASS....... wait, I am sitting on my ass in these pictures, Damn!

@FunCycle can honestly ride with the best of them. I was seriously questioning his placement behind Rab at the beginning of the ride. Like a gentleman, he offered to move aside if he didn't keep up. I thought what the hell, maybe I'll be surprised. I was shocked, he did outstanding, and the cherahala parkway is simply an amazing 51 mile experience.
wow.... @FunCycle your a brave one...
I think I know why that ride wasn't booked full... Two words: RABTECH, and FAST....
Kudos to you sir... Your pair are larger than mine... -

No regrets on that one huh!!! Almost ready for next year!!!

Hey I also wanted to let @FunCycle know that anytime he wants to ride in my fast group he needs to be up front.....
I had his front spoiler up my a$$ the whole skyway ride. THE ONLY time I would get away from him was when I would mash the gas and my turbo would allow mw to slip away. But it wasn't but a few seconds and he would be right on my butt again.
Dont ever judge a book by its gray beard....
He has skills... @Shack was behind him and I bet he can confirm that @FunCycle can drive like a 16 year old with 30 minutes left on his curfew ....
From my point of view @FunCycle was a hell of a driver definitely pleasantly surprised when he didn't slow us one bit the Cherohala has always been a favorite of mine due to the long sweepers and the speed you can maintain one it thanks again for leading that one.

Another one of @StickerDick doing his thing. I'm not sure but this one he is working on might be the one that ran off the road. Hope he got it back home and will be back in action soon.

Happy to hear everyone has been making it home safely. It is sad to hear of the ones that were bit by hydroplaning. I can not stress enough that it's better to just wait a day if heavy rain is on the radar. And as @Painter stated standing water as big as the Sling can make things hairy. I experienced a Sling sized puddle on the freeway coming back from a ride. The Sling started to hydroplane but I was through the puddle before it got bad.
I had a great time meeting new people and hanging out and talking with those I met last year. I always feel like I didn't spend enough FaceTime with everyone, even though my wife felt neglected. If we didn't meet, I appologize, I tried to speak with as many people as I could.
I always set out to take a lot of pictures and always fail because I am living the moments and forget to capture them. Here is one of my favorite pics.

Lots of you finally got to meet my bride during the rally. She asked me to tell all of you how much she enjoyed meeting all you guys & gals. For those of you telling me she is keeping me alive (lol) I dug this out of the ancient history vault and thought I would let ya see why I chased her like a hound chases a rabbit.....and still do
Bill, she's quite a catch! It helps that you were in good shape back then from your work activities...
