It's not missing the cold and snow, it's tolerating the heat and humidity. Lots of Florida folks have summer homes in NC... I know several in Maggie Valley.

It is not much worse that the coast of South Carolina in the summer.
I have seen it in the low 20s and I have seen snow and ice here in NE Florida.
We have had snow , I think 3 times since 1989. Twice we had 9 inches and once we had 18 inches in my back yard.
Imagine….
Oh my I forgot what the first ride of the year was like. Went for about a 4 hour cruise and the fresh air once I got home sucked the life right out of me. Guess I’ll sleep good tonight.
Beautiful day in south Jersey. Temps in the low 70s. So nice to reach that point of the year in which the sling will be my primary everyday driver. Yesterday to the golf course, today grocery shopping.

We’ve been there and it is a gorgeous place for sure. You can see it lot easier than us but enjoy it for sure. Keep the pictures coming and have fun riding there for sure.
Thank for the pics I haven't been there in 60 years.
Yall dont even know.. NH is the best place to live. we are an hourt from everything.. 1 hour to the beach, 1 hour to the mountains, 1 hour to the desert, one our to the city.
Everything is 1 hour away... we do get snow.. but thats snowmobile season!

Maine is much better. 15 minutes to beach, 45 minutes to mountains, 20 minutes to city. I guess it all depends where you live. NH doesn't have much beach front. But I do enjoy their mountains.

Kenerg yes New Hampshire is a beautiful place as I grew up there as a young buck in Guilford and Durham. I remember hearing the snow plows go by while reading cycle world in the middle of January and 20° below zero temperatures and dreaming of heading west. I remember the old man in the mountain when he was still there and racing the Kancamangus highway. Yes, New Hampshire is beautiful, but I prefer 340 days of sunshine and riding weather 😎
I lived in the DC (Annapolis) area for 10 years and moved back to NH. weather was warmer BUT I mean the state Motto is Live free or die..
That has to add a +2 to any argument!

Well, I also like the 300+ days of good weather...The temp here can change as much as 50° in a day (get up in the AM in the 40's and it can be in the 90's by afternoon) ..
Colorado has beaches... just not Ocean beaches, cities...yup, who needs em...desert yes even Sand Dunes National Park, but as for mountains... I live at just over 6000 ft...My good friends live at just over 9500ft.. so I am guessing you mean hills... in NH.... ..
The main problem with Colorado is too many people from more liberal areas have moved here and changed to whole state to a not as great place to live...(it is starting to be called the Peoples Republic of Colorado)
I will stay right here in Palm Springs CA - yea I can get to th beach in around an hour and I could also be snow skiing in about the same amount of time, but much much more importantly is the fact that here in the desert I have been able to have my Slingshot as my daily driver for 6 years riding almost every day of the week until I retired at the end of 2021 and still riding at least 4 days a week now
seriously how many places can a person actually do this and do it comfortably?
