Last Tuesday, we went for a ride. Today . . . 5 to 7 inches of snow.
If you don't like the weather, stick around for a day or two.

Same here, rode on Friday currently 13 degrees at 11:30am.
This weekend was great weather here in Daytona for Bike Week, or just driving on the beach. It should stay pretty busy for the next week or two with Spring Beaker folk coming to town

looks like a sausage festival - where are all the hot bikini babes???
It s time for some new MATERIAL Funinthesun
I have some new material, but it has to go in the NSFW section. These two were easily accessible to respond to Bill Martin since I was heading out the door for a few minutes
No way I drive my Sling on that salty sand. I have rusted out to many SUVs on the beaches of NE Fl and Cape Hatteras Nc.
I drove that very same strip of beach during spring break, 1982. My "cool ride" back then was a '74 Pinto... lol
^^^^^
Ah yes the exploding pinto phenomenon.
Even pinto beans have the same effect...
Planning a little roadie just south of Big Sur and that’s about as far as we’re going to get this time. Kind of crazy to think my slings has been over this spot at least 10 times.

It seems like they always clean up the mess but never fix the problem. That area has had problems (not that extreme) in the past.... I really loved riding on that road...

Looks like nothing short of a bridge will fix that - wait and see what the environmental impact study says. I am sure there is a worm on the endangered species list that lives there. Maybe a jump ramp would do the trick?

Yeah, but then everyone would have to get one of these....

I see you know our state motto...🤪
It's like winter storms on the coast. Keeps washing up sand blocking roads, damaging housing. Instead of buying the problem houses and demolishing, the state keeps fixing.

If we could just keep that crack moving east we would finally have the desired North / South of California and perhaps a solution to a great deal of our problems. 😜
Doing the ride this time I may not be able to enjoy it as much constantly wondering what if....🧐
