After driving to Maggie Valley with Alpha turbo and quiet exhaust and interstate long driving the exhaust drone in front with my tinnitus (ringing in ears and Loud )
been thinking of Welter Rear exhaust.
Those that have it do you hear any exhaust drone from front or all in rear .
Is exhaust note loud / annoying while driving with or without helmet.
Those with Welter Rear Exhaust

Also, does anyone have a fender or special rear end and does it work with the Welter? For example Corbin bags? Or stealth fender? Thanks!

Got the dual from Welter in Maggie Valley. Definitely quieter in cock pit. Can actually hear the wife tell me to slow down. Corbin's will not work with these. Friend got different exhaust that Corbin's will work with. Redone is mine. Gray with is his.

I had the Welter Dual installed in Maggie Valley, I also have the Assault fender and there are no clearance problems. I like the sound of it with the baffles in. I was told in Maggie by a gentleman and his wife that without the baffles it was way to loud.

Just put a car chemistry baffle up in the tip. This is what I did with my alpha side pipe now no more drone at all. U can't even ear it at 75mph just cruising. With out it, it was way to loud. I was ready to sell till I tried this baffel. Super easy install drill one hole. I think they cost right around $50. Mine sits up in the tip maybe 3 or 4 inches can't even see, I slid it in as far ass it would go

I had the Welter rear exhaust installed at Slingshots in the Smokies.I took of another aftermarket exhaust.I find it fantastic.Gives a great sound, quiet in the cockpit, looks really good and finishes the back off and am getting 2 miles per gallon better fuel performance.Great add on.

I have the same one as the one on the gray SS above, got mine at SSITS2016 and definitely removed all that heat build-up on the passenger side, wife loves that her feet are no longer burning. The sound is a very nice rumble, sounds better than the one on the red SS.... mine is called the Outsider by Welter.....You can hear the radio when set at 10 with no problem while on the freeway and can still hear the wife (Damn-it) LOL

The cat is gone and with the exhaust out the back I don't get any fumes in the cabin.

Thanks for the great feedback. I am convinced and it looks like CycleSprings will be getting more business from me. Plan to get it installed at my 5000 mile service.
-
Can anyone give me an idea what the Welter dual exhaust will cost? Thanks so much.

Paid $1750 with the headers.

Welter Performance was in Maggie Valley for Slingshot in the Smokies. I know they have a place in Sikeston MO. Not sure where else they are located.
