Impulse buy? I love my 2015 and would probably miss supercharger. But I assume ddm will come up with one in the next few years.
After all these years I finally got a Slingshot!

ok just called dealer to give me the out the door cash price on a 2023R. But someone is coming in to loom at it. Hopefully they buy so I can end my anxiety.
Keep the 2015... You have all the bugs worked out of it.

Be careful with that pedal commander it can get you hurt real fast. YES, I am serious

I love my pedal commander, I keep mine on city 1, its night and day difference over stock. When I went to higher setting, it just seemed very touchy, its still managable, but city 1 was enough to remove all the throttle lag.

Just got myself a new pedal commanders yesterday - Puma driving shoes. took off the electronic version a long time ago. just didnt see the need. Now days it sits in its original plastic box in another box of parts on a shelf in my garage - I like these pedal commanders much better better "feel" for what I am doing - especially in the twisties

Since the Slingshot is still new to me, I have only put 100 miles on it because it has been snowing and raining for 3 months since I got it. I may move it up the scale as I use it more.
Just happy with the big lag in throttle responce is gone for now.

I'm very happy with the pedal commander but unlike whylee I like my girl a little touchy !
I installed it and set it on sport two years ago and haven't touched it since
When I first installed mine, I set it at Sport +3. Shifted into 2nd coming on to the road and it immediately went sideways!!
I settled in at City +3, and that's comfortable.
That factory lag was annoying!
It's a poor man's Turbo!

I wonder how it would wok with my 23psi of boost

I do not know about that, but it can and will get you hurt on the crooked roads if you are not "REAL" careful.

FunCycle I removed mine for less dramatic reasons. I have always enjoyed driving in the curves, truly love driving a nice curvy mountain road and for me it is a process that I believe requires a finesse and feel that I believe the pedal commander interferes with. Pedal Commander is like giving your woman a big slap on the ass and making her jump and thats great if its your thing, but I personally I would rather skip the slap and use a more gentle touch - - - as I noted above for me a good pair of driving shoes where I can really feel the pedals is a better investment that produces more enjoyment

Imho, so far the commander has been freaking awesome vs stock. I to leave it on City. It seems just fine with me. I went to test all the modes just by throttling in neutral. And saw how “touchy” the higher two modes can be. I do agree that this Pedal Commander is pretty much a poor man’s turbo. Actually, it’s more like a Apexi VAFC 2 controller on an s2000 or any vTech honda. But on the S2k, i had my vTech kick in at 5400rpms. And boy it was a whole lot more fun that being at stock. So this pedal commander acts like a vtech controller. Not to assume that everyone has a chance to drive a honda with vtech though. Though the Apexi VAFC or AFC (the V is obvious for Vtech) is mainly an air fuel controller. Takes control of the MAS or MAP. Anyways, i did instal the ZZP Hood hinge kit. Man I love that it allows to micro adjust the hood were you want it to rest at. Also got both my Harnesses installed. Though the shoulder belts location might change in the future. But overall allows me to truly “feel” the SLing’s movements. Always loved a 4-5 point harnesses when I was racing in SCCA events back in the day. Now waiting for the new headlights to come in. Though I did buy both the aftermarket 2020 Headlights upper and lower panels with LEDs. I decided not to go that route. So probably put them up for sale. But the set that I just ordered is what I have in my “vision” for the over all build.

I fully understand people not warming up to the pedal commander, I would not have one myself, but the lag in throttle responce was to much.

Gotcha. Didn't know temps were worth monitoring. And I second that last question. Where'd you get it at? Almost looks like it was made for that spot!
Thanks! I got it on ebay here
Also I did as well thought it fit perfect in that spot! Also, even with me covering it and the top, the unit I had left on since i got it and it gets enough sun to keep the battery fully charged at all times. I have yet see it lower down. When theres no movement it automatically goes to sleep. Its a cheap investment imho.

lovenpain , what kind of windshield is on your sling?
It’s the slingline’s windshield that goes with the flip top roof. I got them both from SLINGMODS. The windshield is freaking awesome add on. Since the new law passed about not having to wear helmets due to encloser. Makes it really nice to travel around town without having debris or wind being a problem. Except on the interstate. I will wear a helmet for that.
