We have one of the national events going on here in Georgetown this weekend. The Double Barrel what ever, I will be going out to check out the vendors tomorrow.
What do you carry

If I didnt already have a good backup supply of 9mm I would go for that. $180 is a very good price for 1000 rounds

Just remember, there is no such thing as “too much ammo”...

...or green lasers!!!

@ericastar76 firearm eye candy those lasers are!! They are my weakness along with a nice scope! LOL There's nothing like placing a green/red calling card on your target before sending a little lead as follow up LOL

FREEDOM glows bright green in this house for sure!!

I purchased a Taurus 9mm & a 40. Signed up for my conceal carry class on Nov. 11 only 3 hours $50.
Sent from my SM-G935V using Polaris Slingshot Forum mobile app

@A-Team SS that Taurus G2 9mm is a very accurate firearm and it carries well. Congrats on the purchases and good luck with the class.

Thanks.

I thought I'd share the "his and hers" AR pistols I built for my wife and myself back in '13 I believe. They have quite a bit of hardware on them now and have had a nice make over. Talk about a nice pair of 5.56's that will make you smile in a CCQ situation, they are keepers!! Also you'll find my mistress the Para1911 who will always push herself into a picture LOL She's just as heavy as my military issue Colt and of course once out of ammo turns into a nice hammer lol

Pistol Envy! I think that's like the 47th sin or something. How about a Bonnie and Clyde pic in the Sling? Just the kind of thing the calendar needs to dance it up a little!
-
@SlingLow we just may decide to do that LOL But with so many freaking anti-firearm nuts, I'd hate for some widget to snag the picture and post it for a negative... We've had that one happen before, as it was removed from the AR15 forums and used on another forum and a simple search for the picture found it smh Long story short, the person removed it and their statements. I'm loving the positive responses about firearms from this forum and so I took a chance of posting. The wife advised me not to post the safes picture LOL Someone would really think I was a firearms nut versus a lover of firearms, who continuously takes time to hone his craft and build a collection for our family. Once this trailer is built I may just go with a firearms wrap on the back door with the sling shot though--thanks for the idea LOL

That's not a term with which I am familiar. How does one attain such status?

Check it... Range day with the Slings ~> Foothills Public Shooting Complex
*pretty sweet looking place (thinking of putting together a ride for those local).

Thanks @KayTwo!! So, since there's no labeling me here's are "The Twins" from one of our last purchases LOL A pair of Remington TAC-14's and the Mossberg Shockwaves are on their way!
-
Thought those were the twins...
Nevermind then...

Depending on where I am going or what I am doing I have 3 options for CC. I have a full size 1911 that I reworked, a commander size in matt finish stainless steel or a S&W M&P40c. I used to carry the full sized 1911 in an Askins Avenger leather holster but now carry in a Comptec. Really do like the .45 for stopping power. Just my .02 worth.
