I need the brake pressure switch's second time, the dealer does not have them and does not know when he will receive any.
OMG, are you seeing that!!!, it 's got to be a 1967 Pontiac Firebird! Black over Red, Pebble top with a black interior! Sweettttttt!
@KYJoe57 don't know. You may need to take a harder look at it. Looks like a 1973 Ford Mustang....
@Ruptured Duck , I don't know, that gap in the middle is throwing me off. It could have had a six banger in it, but I'm betting with what I'm looking at, it likes a big 8 banger with dual Rams.
Exhaust came in at 10:20. FedEx guy ina minivan brought it and apologized. Took almost 20 min to install. Now about a hour and a half from Nashville. Wife is driving. Apparently her 80 is different than mine. Seems she's allowed to.
Anyone heard if they are doing recall work at SSITS?
No one will answer from cycle spring.
And I cant get a dealership anywhere near me to do anything with it.
still need swing arm, and fuel something from the notice.

This is second time for me as well. Stopped for oil change but that dealer only had one switch! Not a biggie but 400+ miles with no cruise sucks!

@The Rush where are you located? I doubt that any of the dealers will be doing 'recall' work at the rally. One, most of the recall work has to be done by VIN for each Slingshot. Warrantee doesn't pay enough for the 'certified' dealers to do it out side of there shop where they have the parts and manpower and time.
There are lots of good dealer out there...I choose to take a 120 mile one way trip
to get SUPER Service and Care at Nielsen's in Lake Vila, IL....
There are a couple of dealers that are good a little closer, but my choice lets me enjoy a little road trip.

North carolina
world class did my last work on my sling and HELL NO!!! they are the ones that called to tell me the work was done and I got a ride to the dealership only to wait another 4 hours to get work do and to argue about NOT SLAMMING THE HOOD! even after i showed them the manual they argued with me, later i took it to SSITS last year and alpha fixed the hood in literally 1 min.
called 2 near hendersonville, and one in Charlotte no joy "call back in a month" or " we only have the parts for OUR units" or "we will call you when we get some in"
So if anyone knows of a sure thing to get it fixed i am all ears. Or i might just run down to marietta ga ( my old stomping grounds ) and visit friends and get it done.
Oh and I finally got a e-mail cyclespring is not going to make it to SSITS this year.

There are three reputable places you can try calling:
1) Interstate Cycle
2) Full Throttle Powersports
3) RideNow Concord

Well, all's good. No phone call from Kenny on a pay phone from jail. So no need to bail him out. I can only imagine how he and Stickerdick stayed one drink ahead of trouble on Beale Street last night. the good thing is that they'll be on the road to Maggie Valley today and be unloading their rides before sundown
