Hello everyone, i just put money down on a 2015 Flame Red SL. It has been upgraded with a Rotrex (sp?) supercharger and I'm not sure what brand suspension parts. I will go pick it up after my grandmothers estate is settled. What are the things i need to look for (or look out for) on this beautiful machine? Thank you for all your help, I'm sure that I will be referencing this website often since I have found forums to be a great resource for the little "oddball" problems. I live near Marion, IN USA.

I recognize that valve cover - looks like some of Saint Painters Work.
Anyone remember who that was gifted to? -
I heard the guy that owned it was a nut (the good kind) about keeping it in great shape. I originally didn't even look at it because I didn't want red, I thought it was new and supercharged aka out of my price range. My wife said "are you sure you don't want it for $1x,xxx?" Then I looked and it was a '15. Is rash on the leading edge of the hood common? I'm hoping to find out who he went to for the tuning on it... if it wasn't just a reflashed module.

That’s @DuaneIndy’s old ride. That supercharger was installed the same day mine was.

There will be rock chips on the front. The forum store has the lower wing protection tape that looks great on the front and will keep the "rash" from happening as much.
The supercharger is from DDM Works. @Dave@DDMWorks is the man you would need to talk to about anything with the supercharger.
By the way, great looking sling. -
I could of answered your tuning question cause I watched it get flashed it’s a bobs tune set up for everything you have on your new sling. That red coolant DDm coolant tank should of been mine they were out of red so I had to go with black lol. That supercharger is only like 6 or 7 months old.

Here is pics of who installed it and pics of it being done. July 28th 2017

That's BU11SH1T another slingshot in Indiana. It's about time we all meet somewhere in Indiana
-
Welcome @SlingByron!!! Yes, I helped install that SC. @Slingrazor did most of the work. Didn't have mine yet but ordered right after and Slingrazor helped me install it. Best mod ever! @Dave@DDMWorks could probably send you the instructions for the SC. You will want to check the oil in it with it running and ONLY put in the oil DDM has if it is low. Expensive oil. Haven't looked for it on Amazon or anything yet because it only took about half a container to fill so we all kept the remainder to add when needed. Had to add an ounce or so to mine Friday after about 2000 plus miles of hard driving. Nothing else to really be concerned about. Just drive hard and have fun!
