I'm 6' 4", and I feel your pain....
Also, @Ruptured Duck, PM sent.
I've been meaning to ask you if you've modded the top, as we discussed at MV, and if it's better for you know. Other 6'4" inquiring minds want to know...

I did the day I received the shock and the mod brackets (about 12 days ago). You can find my post with pics below, towards the bottom of the page.
But I'll go one step further than I did in the review. The more I drive with the top, especially in the rain or hot or humid temps, I love it even more! It looks cool, feels like it's an old hot rod with chopped top from inside, and just makes the experience better. Will I use it all the time? No. We like the sun and wind. But if much chance for rain, or heat, or on vacation, I'll have it on. If I'm traveling, I just remove the top from the knurled screws, and release the latch at the back to take off the cover. Then my cockpit cover works fine. The top can go into the motel when traveling, only minutes to remove and very light. Other downsides to the top you ask? With it raised with the higher brackets, I've noticed it catches a few more bugs into the cockpit. Windshield directs them up, to the top, and into our area. Not that many really, but worth mentioning. It's worth it though, we love the top and it's even better overall when it's raised! Get the shock, I got the single, and it works. When the top raised and you are driving single, it sucks to try to get out and have it fall without the shock.

Sport Top Feedback
Yeah, I saw that writeup after I'd already written this. Sorry for the doubletap - too many threads to follow, I guess. Good report, though...bottom line is, making it work for us tall guys is doable. Good news. Thanks, Brett.
top. install. i really really really like this top. been riding to much to put in a review. goes on easy and quick. lining it was the hardest thing too do. change the sling
oyeah. the double shocks look real good.
first ride with the sport top today, 30 mile short run thru town stop and go traffic, wasnt but around 90 degrees at the time, tremendous difference never new it would be that much change in the sling, the wife was driving so we get home she gets out, again first time for her with no helmet and all that sun screen stuff she puts on, and says quote " by far that is the best purchase we have made for the sling." !!!! She is very impressed and guess what that makes daddy happy to...!!!! Great job, ruptured duck you have done well...!
Larry.... Thank you for the kind words. Really does mean a great deal to me.
Just being honest, you have done very well,we have the top and the bags, for the wife to be happy with them both, we have done really well, I'm still in shock on the top I never new it would make such a difference in the heat....
yeah. thanks rup......this top is awesome. i cannot keep saying i can see the screen which is 7 inches and the sound in the system makes the sling rock. it really keeps the sun off you. the design rocks.
