and a few more...

That is pure sexiness... I mean that in a Mocho way. That looks crazy good!!!
-
Man that looks good! Received mine last week just haven't had time to install.
-
The Jmod itself was pretty quick and easy... The LEDs... Now that's another story!!
-
-
Fuel rail, where we're going we don't need fuel rails. You are welcome sir, I love the Jmod, you did a stellar install.

-
That looks slick as hell!

It is a awesome look. That's why I did it too. I hope you gave yourself enough slack in the LED wires so the hood can close and not pull on them! I just fixed mine tonight because I had them to tight and pulled them out.

@STYLN I originally bought the fuel rail to possibly help my JonV turbo. DDM Works said it won't make a difference in NA applications. For turbo applications it is center fed rather than on one end and it holds more fuel. Those two improvements will help insure no cylinder is starved for fuel through aggressive driving.

Ok 2 questions @TheRock !!
1- Does the fuel rail have any importance or additions to the engine except for the looks?
2- What is that sticker over your plugs? I know why its there but where did you get it?
1 - DDM claims that if you have a boosted motor, the stock fuel rail may not be able to keep up with the demands for fuel of the motor. It also, supposedly gives a more even fuel dispersement being that it is center fed, versus being fed from the end.
From DDM's site - "When doing forced induction development with the 2.4L ECOTec we started to notice a issue with fueling on the stock fuel rail. The stock fuel rail supplies fuel to the number 4 cylinder first, then down the line to the other cylinders. What we developed was our center feed fuel rail that brought the fuel into the center of the rail to keep fuel pressure more constant across the entire fuel rail. Also, the rail has a larger internal volume than the stock rail to help buffer the pulsations created by the pulsing of the fuel injectors. Although the stock rail works well at lower horsepower made by the stock engine, as you increase power especially on boosted applications, you need to flow more fuel and so we came up with the solution to make sure that all of that fuel flows evenly to all of the cylinders.
The fuel rail itself starts out as a single billet piece of aluminum which goes through multiple CNC operations to become the new fuel rail. After machining, the rail is then hard black anodized for a beautiful finish and long term protection. Fuel supply gets to the center feed fuel rail via a new custom made stainless steel -6AN line with AN fittings at each end. We even include a factory style disconnect that allows you to easily attach it to the stock fuel line, and of course, it looks great on the car!"
2 - The sticker over my plugs (I'm assuming you are talking about the 3 ECU plugs) is a label I made as a warning to any dealer who may ever have the honor and pleasure of working on my Sling that I have custom values programmed into the ECU. I got this idea from @rabtech. It reads " Warning! This ECU contains custom ECU flash values. Do not program anything to this port that could change the ECU flash. No service to this vehicle should imply permission to flash the ECU without expressed written permission. If the ECU is found to be flashed or programmed in such a manner as to change the values, you will be responsible for any cost associated with returning it to its previous flash values."

I saw your post saying you ripped your lights out... I would have been PISSED!! I made damn sure I learned from your mistake and that I routed my wires carefully and gave plenty of slack for the opening and closing of the hood. Thanks for the heads up Brother!!

I would do it again as long as I helped warn others of what could result! Reggy @TricLed replaced them under warranty! I told him what I did! Awesome customer service!!

That's great news! You're still going to have to wire in new LEDs. Maybe that's only scary to the unskilled. Haha
