I used to have one of those. Its totally DOS based. If i remeber correctly, you put the DOS. Disk in the top floppy, turn the unit on and it boots off the floppy (as more than likely it doesn't have a hard drive though some did).
Once it boots up, you now have to know DOS commands like DIR for directory.
