Look left. I had my 20 ga. SXS with me this weekend along with 00 buckshot.
What do you carry

I've had good luck with the DeSantis Nemesis (they make a regular holster and a cargo pocket variant), and I've heard good things about the Crossbreed pocket holster.
Also, this is an interesting article: http://www.guns.com/review/how…s-a-cargo-pocket-holster/

Started this because I could not find a current thread and I know a lot of our SS family carry when out and about.... went to a Gun Show yesterday and besides buying 2 Walther PK380's in a Teal color for the wife and daughter... I found this Multiple carry positions, fits just about any handgun...I know all my handguns work in it...so one holster for many handguns is a lot better than a holster for each different caliber handgun...
@rabtech if there is another thread, please feel free to merge this into it.
Gun I got the wife.....
Looks like a perfect place to start the thread.

I carry this one.
Its usually within arm reach when I'm traveling.
Here is a picture i found on the web of it. I have it in my truck and its hot outside...
Ruger LC9 with red dot.
-
I also have a 357 Smith and Wesson revolver by my bed and really close by is my trusty Mossberg 500 Tactical 12 Gauge.
The Mossberg would be my first choice if I heard a window break or a door pushed open. I can promise it won't make a single sound when i flip the safety off......
My first shot out of the gun is 7 1/2 Shot.... The second is the same... Then its all XX buck shot.....
-
My choice for home defense is my 12 gauge Mossberg fully load by the bedroom door and my Judge loaded with 410's on my night stand....and 3 little yappy dogs
-
Yappy dogs saved my house and family.
I had a guy pull up my driveway several years ago that was going to break in my house. It was late at night. I posted the security camera video on the other forum.
It was a grainy crappy video. I learned from that video to have HD camera and some lights on outside all the time. When @Bill Martin came by my house the other day I showed him where the guy parked that was going to break in my house. Its a place that NO one can normally get to.
My Australian Shepard had that guy cornered and wouldn't let him out of his truck. Dogs will save your life and your property for sure....

There is no question where this crook pulled up he was up to no good. You can't get to Rab's house without a map - it's out in the woods. So glad he has great dogs or his shop at the very least would have been robbed. As you can imagine with the Wiring King cameras are everywhere and I am sure he has cameras now where he can count their teeth in the dark of night!!!

Here is my Ruger

Hey @Spudinator trying it out now on my side.... holds both my 380 and 9mm with no problem....works on either side for right or left hand draw....... seems to be very comfortable and not really noticeable under my Shirt....seems easy enough to get the gun in and out..... little stiff on the opening but the more I take the gun in and out seems to open it up more.... Gonna wear it the rest of the day while out riding and see how it does...
Did you go nylon or leather??

My wife just bought herself a S&W M&P Bodyguard 380 for CC.
And some targets with Bill Martin's picture -
Just venting a second. My wife went for a run tonight, borrowed my (blued) Keltec .32 (which she does sometimes when she needs an ultra-concealable option), but instead of keeping it in the built in holster in her spandex shorts, she had to take it out halfway back and put it in her sports bra to keep it secure. She took it out of her bra when she got home....it was soaked! I immediately field stripped it, sprayed all the metal down with WD40 in the kitchen sink (which pissed her off, but she wisely didn't say anything about it), and then I took the frame, which is polymer, but has a thin fabric wrap on the grip, and put the whole damn thing in a bowl of rice. That fabric grip is probably trashed. I can get a new one, easy enough, it's just.....gahhh!
Thanks for listening. Go ahead and laugh now. Dicks.

As a single guy I'm stuck with how best to advise you on how for you to check her makeshift holster without getting shot.
