I had 40+ thousand miles on my 2016 never had a single issue...... with the steering
By all rights, only SlingShots that had been sold before May of 2016 should have experienced this issue, for after the issuance of the SB any subsequent vehicles should have been "fixed" before they were sold.
Hmm, no issue seen in my 2020 R with steering. Hopefully, Polaris is not sued out of the Slingshot business... Everybody has the right to sue anybody (except leftist politicians can't be successfully sued) so i get it, but i would like Polaris to keep making Slingshots. Reminds me of a horseback ride my wife and I took in Bryce Canyon, we signed a wavier, and one incident where a guy was going to sue over an issue on our ride and everyone else said they would not sue. Just saying, life is dangerous enjoy the moment as you never know.
If I am understanding correctly, this thread involves a known issue concerning 2015 and early 2016 SlingShots, in which an SB then provided instructions for corrective action so subsequent SlingShot models should not be involved.
