......Im very much interested in a Air Ride but NOT willing to give up any space behind my seats (out of the ?).......so as im putting my engine back in, im wondering about this space where my oem stock muffler used to reside......is it possible to mount the air ride components there and probably have to run custom lines (air, electrical) to make this work.......
Now what about an Air Ride........

It might be the best , but i still need to see about mounting the air tank/compressor where the stock muffler used to be.......thats my issue as of now

Maybe give them a call & ask if that’s feasible?

They might be able to do that... But they can also definitely put them under the rear deck fin and not compromise rear seat storage if I recall correctly....

It doesn’t go behind your seat. Under the front of the slingshot and under your back deck
Call Mitch 574-933-2269. I have had my air
ride 4 years it was done by Mitch. January
He will be installing two more for me

So, there are options.
There is an option that takes up the spot behind your passenger seat for the air tank (remainder of the equipment goes under the fin), torpedo tanks that go under the rear or the front of the slingshot (remainder of the equipment goes under the fin), then there are only two Slingshots that I know of that have the tank and all equipment under the fin.
MADDMOE you can 100% get Mitch's kit, but let him know you will be remote mounting the tank where the old exhaust was. You will have to make your own mounting for the tank. Just be very sure to route your air lines away from any hot engine or exhaust components.

....thats what ive been exploring, having to fabricate my own brackets and routing the lines away from heat , since the air lines are usually plastic (surely dont want a melted line) But im more interested in everything being installed upfront , nothing under the fin or behind either seat.........one thing about having a top is its a blocker for me removing my fin , too much work unless absolutely necessary

Last summer in Maggie Valley was talking with Dave from DDM ... He starting to ask what 'mods' you have before he quotes a price on installation. Different things make quite a difference in the time it takes to do a job. As a residential painting contractor people call and want a 'price' over the phone---NO. I come out and look at the project and give you a firm price.

Your should be able to put a one gal. receiver in front of the basenger, behind the front wheel.

I was thinking a smaller tank also.....👍🏾
-
But than my question is will a smaller tank be enough to raise it fully or will the compressor just be working more....

Good idea. Saw some fenders w/compartments that were big enough to fit helmets. Lots of space there, really good idea!

You want a minimum of 1 gallon tank. If not you'll be running off the compressor a lot. You may be able to get all the equipment under the hood, but you still need to get your power wire to the battery.
List of equipment you would need under the hood: 1 gallon slim line tank, compressor, 3 individual valves or one quad block, various fittings, and hose. Are you doing manual or digital controls?
I mentioned the slim line tank to provide you with more space for the compressor and valves which take up a big chunk of room as well. I built lrobbi and my setup from scratch and will help in anyway I can. Air suspension systems are really easy to plan/install once you know the basics of suspension travel.

MADDMOE a call to Mitch at Revdynamics and tell what you have and what you want and he can let you know what will work.

My hydraulic pump is mounted to a plate mounted to the frame where the muffler was. It was for the JRI ride height suspension.

It would be 6 individual valves if doing each wheel individually. 4 if doing front/rear setup. One valve for up, one valve for down.

Im guessing you are new to air suspension. A quad block or 4-way has 8 valves and when a person says you need three valves that includes up and down. This is the particular quad block I use in most systems including Slingshots.

Lol. Definitely not NEW to air ride. That manifold you showed has 8 valves. Her is my other toy and the reason for my screen name
