Those furniture dollies aren't very expensive. Just to be safe, I'd make sure to add some additional pieces of wood to the top of the furniture dolly to ensure the motor sits stable on the furniture dolly!
So, DollyWood?!

Way ahead of you .......made me a platform thats sits in the middle of the dolly and wide enough so once i place the engine on it, ill build up the sides where the engine mounts will rest on it and get bolted down, allowing me to work on it while its out.......so when im done i can remove the platform and still have the dolly for who knows what.....

I keep my 60 lb compressor on mine so I can roll it around the garage instead of my 60 year old ass carrying it!
And Captain Obvious says definitely screw those two pieces together when using it for your engine.
Ok first let me start by thanking those that helped me thru this process even though i know im know where near done, i feel like i removed its heart , now to perform surgery to get it back up and running 🤞🏼
......I added wheels to the sides due to height of the engine and to prevent it from tipping over if bumped ....
......special thanks to Dave@DDMWorks for post #46 , must of read it so much i fell asleep dreaming about each step....
......and to Kyle D for the brackets for lifting
..... tomorrow ill spend some time looking at what i destroyed
Heres the short version

Great job getting that engine out of there. The wheels were a cool idea. Well done!
So i removed and see what all that noise was & boy did this clutch implode, any recommendations on anything to clean the engine with (brake cleaner)....
Ya make us proud son!
You blowed that up real good!
Brake Klean works well I also use a really good de-greaser / cleaner call G Tech

Make us proud again ... when it's purring like a TIGER.
Forgot ole trusty, very fine steel wool and my air gun
So what caused the tranny failure? abuse??
I admit to driving it hard and have been on motorcycles since i was a teenager & never damaged my clutches, i just think it couldnt handle what i was throwing at it, we'll see what happens with the next (performance) clutch i place in there
How much hassle/trouble was it to remove the bolts holding the trans to the engine with everything still in place? Definitely looks like it would be easier to pull just the engine that way!

9 bolts holding the transmission to the engine & all accessible with the right tool.....have a floor jack under the bell of the transmission which raised it while the engine was being lifted at the same time with just 2 bolts Attached til i cleared the engine mounts.....
So I see the slave cylinder imploded also, now onto aquiring all the parts......
