I had two retirement count down. First was retirement from the Navy in 87 then from the State of Florida 21 years later.
-
I just hit 62 and filed for early SS payments but I still own my rental properties and am carrying 4 real estate contracts, so it doesn't really look or feel any different. Just another check. Am I retired or self-unemployed? Hard to tell. Retired sounds cool so I'll be that. Now, back to my tile job...
Frankie55 if I put 365 pieces of candy on my desk and retired when they were gone, I'd retire in a week!
Me two days.....

I'm in Westmoreland TN on the state line with Kentucky. We moved out this way a couple years ago to get further outside Nashville. Couldn't have made a better choice. Family loves it. Small town for miles. Couple small fast food places in town tied to the gas station and a dollar general. No major retailers, name brand grocery stores, or main stream anything. We're so far out of being crowded it's peaceful but still about 30 minutes away from bowling green ky if we need to find anything in civilization.
What, no Waffle House??? The wife and I stopped at the one in Lebanon, TN last month. It was her first time. Can't say that about too many things anymore.
-
The thing I love most about Waffle House is the big breakfast with eggs, toast, grits (I swap them for hash browns) and choice of meat. I always upgrade to the salty County Ham. Once I discovered I could order salty country ham from Amazon, I haven't been going to Waffle House as often. My Family all feel it's too salty to eat, but it's something I learned to love from my Dad.
After we got married, my Dad sent my In-Laws a salt-cured country ham. My Father-In-Law was recovering from a heart attack that forced him to retire from his job as an auto mechanic and they had never had a salt-cured ham before. They didn't know it needed to be soaked first to remove the salt and thought we must have been trying to poison them. It eventually became a joke between everyone.

Not sure if I am letting the cat out of the bag but the good people at Tufskinz
notably Zack have let me compartment my orders. Not always a fan of the "whole kit" scenario. I pick my parts and email him and ask what the price is. He has always gotten back to me and happy to do the order as in he fender above. I liked the whole kit for the inserts but only wanted the other side piece not the entire kit. Same with the little accent on the side panel and the hood.. Wanted the outside hood part not the behind the windshield. Good people there and I have no problem with putting them on my sling. They always look good and never fade - great product!

Nope. No waffle house. A couple small mom and pop meat and 3's. Now I will say just across the state line in ky there's a huddle house. I've never been there so I guess I'm in the same boat as your wife but have been told it's like a northern version of a waffle house.

I agree with Socal. Tufskinz make great products. Only wish they made a dress up kit for the drive pully.

me… I am on the lookout for a very flexible LED light strip for this area or if tufskinz could make a 1” carbon fiber strip that would be great. But we always want what we can’t have😎

None today but I did receive my ddm coolant tank. 67% chance of rain tomorrow. I may try to install along with the coolant reroute and 100mm pulley for the supercharger. Not a hard job but I think 1 or both coolant tank bolts are stripped. So that will be an issue.

Lots of green pollen dust in the north this time of the year. It gets into every open space. Raining today so I decided to clean the whole cockpit. Just hope the rain washes the pollen away for good this year! Some great tufskinz products here.

I noticed your creating a large carbon footprint. Hay that's another great idea. How about a carbon footprint!

Yesterday's mod was full air ride, air horn, and lug spikes for my wheels. Wheels were also done by same company which will be down at Maggie Valley.
The quality of work this company provides is top notch. If you need wheels, air ride, paint, radio they do it all. I am talking about....
REV DYNAMICS !!!!
Mitch and team can get you taken care of.
Located in Plymouth Indiana
This pic is with it laying on the ground almost.
Thanks Mitch the ride home was awesome.
Also scared a few buzzards with loudness of the new horn.
