Good feeling when you see them light up for the first time, right? Job well done, enjoy!
What was today's Sling project-Mods , goodies....?

It sure was a good feeling to push the turn on button and everything worked the first time.

Got those hood vents knocked out today and put on those convex mirrors. Driveway still snow packed so didn't take for spin, but looks good and I can see more in the mirrors. Vents were easier than I thought after you get going and funny how that fear of screwing up is what made me put off this mod for so long.

Yep, easy to do vents - once you get past the "DIY Vasectomy " scare factor.

I'm still waiting for "cutting courage"!

Those vents look good. I may get them at Maggie Valley this year. I still hate to cut the hood, but those look good. 3GunSteve notice your hood bumper is gone on the top left?
Educate me I had to go check but aren't the bumpers on the bottom? Pic so I can see what you mean by chance?

Kinda looks like it just sticks on there? Where does one get one of those?

That’s how the early models came from factory. Pad was black, not red. Infamous for falling off (cheesy factory glue). Not sure what year they changed design. I’m sure someone else will chime in...

I have a 2017. It has a strike plate above (no cousin) and a lower rubber puck that has height adjustment.

I assume you meant no cushion...

Ok, must of been a change then from earlier ones - mine is 18 with the rubber bumpers on bottom....

I saved your previous posting just this for the occasion! I should have listened to my 5th grade teacher when she told me to pat attention to spelling. Hah!

My 2019 S does NOT have these pads.

Ok, so I decided to save some money on my seat install. Planted brackets are $280. I paid $190 for NRG brackets. In the end, it wasn’t worth the extra labor to get these to work and the finish is subpar!!
But, they can work and they are never seen, so meh. Just stoked to have the Braum seats installed.
Can’t wait to take a spin.
I had to fabricate a Z bracket to offset the seatbelt receptacle otherwise it would have trashed the recline mech housing when sliding to and fro. -

Yep, you should always pat attention...

I also failed miserably in typing class. I blame it on watching the girls. There were lots of girls to look at in typing class. I tried the ASDFJKL: home keys thing for years but always revert back to being a pecker!
Spell check is no match for me!
