I looked online for a three wheeled recumbent peddle w/electric assist yesterday for after both of my total knee replacements. Right now I am riding a new recumbent stationary bike. The 24th I am having the right knee done and hope to have the left done a recovered before Fall deer/turkey season. I won't be getting into the Slingshot this Summer.

The Dymaxion, conceived by Buckminster Fuller in the eary 1930's. It steered with the rear wheel and was very unstable at speed. Only 3 were built originally, then this replica in 2010. It was eventually supposed to fly as well.

not sure it counts as three wheeled, but we saw one of these at the Patton Museum this afternoon - and apparently you can get your own

Well, three footprints so I'd say it counts. I could definitely use one to get my garbage can to the street at 50 mph. Seriously though, if you had the money, I'd let you buy me one (that goes for ALL members!).

Not 3 wheels but interesting electric car.... We really have not made much progress in115 years.
Studebaker ElectricFounded in 1852 as a coachbuilder, Studebaker ended car-making in 1967. But in its day the company was a pioneer, with this electric city car built as long ago as 1908. It was claimed to have a range of over 100 miles with its dozen six-volt batteries; that's presumably without the heated seats or infotainment system switched on.
