I have a few people that have been waiting a bit so I want to offer them first, but by the end of this week I will have a better idea of how many I will have ready. The first run of them will be only for the drivers side storage area.
How about some pictures of alternative speaker locations

Ok Thanks, Let me know, that's all i'm using is drivers side so that's perfect. I just have it in the door, and really don't care for the SSV model.

Cheap boat speakers but I can hear them at freeway speeds. -
Rabtech, Do you know what size those are, 3.5s? Also, any challenges mounting wrt depth etc? thanks
-
Rab, where did you pick those up? How hard was the install, and was it worth it?

@kenny_h Are the T.M.S Sub Pods all accounted for? Can i get on list for them?
Those are Memphis positional PR tweeters. And yes..... they are well worth the effort. It bring the sound stage to the middle. It's a pain to install because there is a layer of plastic behind the outer plastic.. and be careful the fuel line is on the driver's side behind that speaker. U will hit it with a drill if your not careful.

Rabtech, Hoping you can provide a few more details about mounting the PR tweeters in the console. I took a look at the underside, and it is somewhat tight. Hoping for insights to below. Thanks!
1) How did you drill the holes for the tweeters, a standard hole saw, a dremel, or.....?
2) Did you drill the body colored panels while on the Sling, or did you drill them, place back onto the SS, then drill second layer?
3) If you used hole saw, did you remove the pilot bit or just be very careful to drill slowly?
4) and finally, for drilling did you have to move the fuel lines, or just make sure you drilled slow and did not go through to deep once it cut the inner flood part?Very interested in doing, but notice not only the fuel lines but also the transmission etc. Obviously do not want to screw it up and since you were successful... Thanks

let me see if i have pictures. i thought I did a write up on them
You will need to drill a pilot hole while the painted part is still in place. Then you will pull the painted parts off and you will have a perfect center mark through both pieces.
Then take a hole saw the correct size for the tweeters and pop it in the painted parts and the plastic parts behind those panels .
Might as well get you some cigarette plugs an put them in also if your going that deep..
DRILL SLOW AND DONT PUNCH THRU WIDE OPEN... YES THERE IS A FUEL LINE AND ALL KINDS OF STUFF BEHIND THOSE SPOTS...

Thanks. I looked in both forums (I know...) and could not find any install pics etc. Really think they will make a difference, but want to be careful. The way you describe it is what I was thinking, but I need to take one more look below the SS. My hole saw has a longer pilot than I would like. Thanks again, if you do find pictures they would be appreciated....would help gauge where the stuff is from the top....

Ya lost me when ya said "drill through the painted parts"

built sub box with jl w3 thin. installed passenger footwell. built 6x9 box to barely fit jl audio speakers. for the side of seat. tight fit really nice sound with 6x9. installed focal tweeters on top of box. really nice. going to move out in open. adding compression tweeters to side of sling inside. this should do the trick for the tweets. the front stock location is useless. go ride of middle speakers with kickers, added top of line focal 4 inch and 5 1/2 spots. that made the difference. buddy has stereo shop so we are always tinkering. not done......

@rabtech I need to come spend some time with you so we can get the speakers and pigs going on my SS
Why are you putting pigs on your Sling?
