Just registered but there's nothing on there about signing up for a tour, I triple checked it..Anyone got a link?
Dust Off That Powder Blue Tuxedo ..... It's Homecoming Time

It's there, just checked, but it only appears as you are doing the cart/registration and selecting quantities of items. You just have to scroll down to pick the timeslot you want.

I agree with SlingLow, I have some things to say.
Ross, did you ask if we could get a Q&A with some of their design engineers, maybe a panel type setup? I bet a ton of folks would love to attend and hear them answer questions. I'd pay money to get into that if I got to ask questions
I think that we have to keep in mind that we are at the manufacturing plant not corporate HQ. There's a big difference between the "big shots" and the "worker bees".

really??? sounds like you want to turn it into a White House press conference

Ok, didn't know that, but are they geographically wide spread? I'm sure the answer is no from them, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

I mean, why not do a Q&A and pick their brains, give them some ideas from their fan base.
In the IT industry, this is done pretty routinely to give feedback and just to get some answers out of the people in the know.

Makes total sense. I must have missed that when I registered, I don't remember it asking me.
Now, how do I go about getting a slot assigned?
Thanks Ross
You should be able to use your confirmation email to make changes. If not, you can cancel your registration and the re-register and add the tour
-
I think Ross is messing with us and it wasn't an option on day 1
That would have been a great joke but the 37 people that added a tour make it far less funny
-
No, it doesn't let you add the tour when you edit, just change your existing info. If I cancel, is it going to have to refund me the cost of the t-shirt and is that going to cause any problems on your end when I re-purchase?
-
I know this may sound corny, but are you planning on handing out name tags? Seems I missed some people at Kerrville because I didn't know who they were. Anyone on this forum would have recognized my t-shirt, since I was wearing a slingshotinfo.com t-shirt both days I was there.
No, at this time we are not. I know they get handed out at lots of events and see few people wear them.
This was a simple way for us to expenses and labor down.

Cool, I'll know two people by site then, You and MiM.
I'd walk around carrying my AR-10 if it would help identify me, but it'd probably scare more than I want

Did you scroll down past the t-shirts?
-
Yep. I didn't scroll down either. We need help Uncle Ross ! I want to take that tour 'cause I have a bunch of ideas they're going to want.
I've got a SPECIAL tour in mind for you buddy ... outside of the building only

Just cancel the registration, not the t-shirt

The person leading the tour will be able to answer general questions.
In my experience those sessions can be great but more often than not turn into a shit show of complaints and opinions about what others would do differently. While I understand the value of constructive feedback and 360 reviews with a sigma vi perspective and this being our first year of hopefully many .... no, we are not having a Q&A session with engineers or executives

Corporated HQ is in Medina MN.
